question I have is sometimes when I'm working on the binding pin I feel like I'm applying too much tension pressure, preventing me from moving the pin upward. do you just push harder to force the pin up, or do you loosen your tension a little until you're able to move the pin? if I use more force to push the pin upwards, then I feel like I'm gonna bend my pick, but if I loosen my tension, then pins 1 or 2 might fall back down while I work on loosening pin number 3. which is the best strategy? I'm still new to all this but I feel like your tensioning skills are the more important part to lockpicking. and lastly, who else feels like this is their version of a fidget toy...i find myself watching TV or taking a shit while messing with this 😂
Just bang on this one on the right side. A few good blows to that side with say a blunt object like another lock..or use your imagination..That spring at the top will compress with the impact due to the weight of the metal surrounding it. The spring below will cause the lock to pop open.
Underrated as hell without this i wouldnt have known how they work
Yes and when you search this you will find so much ripped shorts, some of them have 300k+ likes that is 😢...

This is the slowest way to open a lock, but it's good for fundamentals.

Not necessarily the process, but brute force or patient grinding always works. 😁
A drill and a 1/4” drill bit opens a lock in a couple of seconds.
