I was going through a divorce from the time I discovered Doug until the end of December 2022. I love the jokes.
You can add me to the list. As someone who was going through divorce and watching the live stream of Doug with his brother for The Stanley Parable Deluxe. It hurt a bit then but now that I'm on the other side, I find it hilarious. That being said, I also make lots of jokes about my own divorce, so take that how you will.
Not a divorcee, but in my experience with other things yeah, it's actually kinda nice to be able to relax and laugh about that stuff sometimes. There's a time and place, and a range of what's appropriate, and a channel like DougDoug checks all those boxes.
It's kinda like the difference between laughing _with_ and laughing _at_ somebody.
