    Great video. Wish I still did cakes. I have made a beer bottle with sugar label on it and a wine glass using an isomalt kit I purchased online. By the way the cakes at the time were a hit. Thanks for sharing.

      @@BrittneeKay Working with isomalt I did use heat proof gloves. Wondering if heat proof piping bags would be better than parchment. Probably not as economical as parchment. (Meaning expense)

    anything you put on them for humidity? I live in FL and its humid

    • @BrittneeKay
      @BrittneeKay  Месяц назад +1

      No, you can't really avoid the humidity with isomalt. You can still make them they'll just get stickier faster!

    What temperature is the melted isomalt?

    • @BrittneeKay
      @BrittneeKay  5 месяцев назад

      I don't measure the temperature so I'm not sure!... I keep heating it just until all of the crystals are gone : )

    How long can se keep thème on a plastic bag

    • @BrittneeKay
      @BrittneeKay  2 года назад +1

      Really as long as they look good they will last. Keep them in a dry cool place so they don't get sticky. :)

    Why did you add water to your isomalt?

    • @BrittneeKay
      @BrittneeKay  3 года назад

      I followed the instructions on the package of my isomalt for melting it down. And for me I prefer to have it a bit thinner when melted so that it's easier to pour into the molds.
