      Brittnee Kay I haven’t made it before, although I’ve seen it made a lot. This definitely makes it look easier than I would’ve expected. Next time I’m gonna try :)

    These would be awesome for underwater scenes!! 😍

      They turn out so good with white, teal, and light blue combined! Leave the isomalt crystals a bit more spaced and you will get some nice water bubbles!

    Love this! Would it be possible to cut the sheets with a metal petal cutter while still warm and make flowers?

    • @BrittneeKay
      @BrittneeKay  Год назад

      It should be possible but you should grease the petal cutter first! And you’ll have to work so quick because it’ll set up pretty fast! But give it a try! It’s always fun to experiment!

Can't wait to try it for my partner's birthday this coming weekend. NOt sure what would be the theme yet but He loves fishing. Thank you so much for sharing.

    Want to make a cone shape for a unicorn cake’s horn. It is for a unicorn birthday cake. Any suggestions on how to do it?

    • @BrittneeKay
      @BrittneeKay  Год назад +1

      Do you want it to be isomalt? If so what I would is cut out the shape of the horn and roll it up. You'll have to do this at a specific point where the isomalt is not still melty and not yet hardened but still flexible. Once you take it out of the oven let it cool for a bit until it gets to this stage. Quickly cut it with a knife and roll the cone.
      If you're not set on using isomalt you could use modeling chocolate, fondant, gum paste, or candy melts!
