  • Hi everyone! Watch how I learned to L-Sit in 13 days!
    This is a relatively easy exercise for me to learn. I encourage y'all to learn this as well and I hope this is helpful!
    I've been trying to learn many different calisthenics techniques. The L-Sit is more like a side-quest along my journey pursuing the more advanced ones such as the human flag, handstand, and strict muscle up. Stay tuned!

    I got my L-sit on the floor! I think I had it already unlocked after hearing your "secret sauce" doing it on hard floor with curl fingers, I did like 5 sets of 6sec-11seconds. I increased the number of seconds after each set!
    Thanks for your secret sauce tip!

    Good catch on the Heria "claw"! I saw that too in many of his other videos and said to myself, "there's gotta be something to that". Sure enough, with just a little bit of inward tension/pulling using curled fingers, it's like being able to "grab" a flat surface; of course it's not completely like grabbing bars/parallettes but it's enough so that you can engage a lot of the extra little muscles that help balance/coordinate your arms, and thus create more of a 'solid unit' from your shoulder all the way to your fingertips! It's this creating of a 'solid unit' that helps the rest of the muscles transmit more force, and transmit it more effectively. That's why you were able to hold it better on the solid floor vs the soft turf. Put some liquid chalk on your hand and you can put even more tension on the fingers and transmit even more effectively (on a hard surface that is)!

    • @badward-feng
      @badward-feng  Месяц назад

      Nice! That’s quite uncommon. Generally it’s harder to control on the floor also the room for error is lower since your body is not elevated. But it’s great if you found this easier

    • @badward-feng
      @badward-feng  2 месяца назад

      Hi yes! Glad you are interested in fitness at such a young age!
      I think you should try attempting doing push ups with your feet on the ground at the beginning of each training and max those out. After that go to knee push ups and max them out as well.
      Don’t need to train every day. Train hard for a day and rest for a day or two. Eat enough protein and sleep enough. You will see gains in no time

    • @badward-feng

      I think it could be a few reasons: hand position not at the center of your mass, or a lack of scapula strength or core strength to stabilize

    • @badward-feng
      @badward-feng  9 месяцев назад +1

      Nice, being able to hold it for 8 seconds means you are flexible enough and probably just need to get stronger core strength and hip flexor strength.
      I think you can try working on the exercise I showed at 0:43, 3 sets, 16 reps each set on your workout days
