- Hi everyone! Watch how I learned to L-Sit in 13 days!
This is a relatively easy exercise for me to learn. I encourage y'all to learn this as well and I hope this is helpful!
I've been trying to learn many different calisthenics techniques. The L-Sit is more like a side-quest along my journey pursuing the more advanced ones such as the human flag, handstand, and strict muscle up. Stay tuned!

I got my L-sit on the floor! I think I had it already unlocked after hearing your "secret sauce" doing it on hard floor with curl fingers, I did like 5 sets of 6sec-11seconds. I increased the number of seconds after each set!
Thanks for your secret sauce tip!
Congrats! That’s absolutely amazing! I’m so happy the video is helpful!
I can L-sit about 30 seconds. The fact that you can do it 13 days is mindblowing
Thanks! 30 seconds is really impressive, I'll work my way towards it. Any pro tip?
It is a guinness world record!
😂😂😂😂
This is magic it actually works, thanks
Glad it's helpful!
This video is gold. Thanks, bro!
Thanks! Glad it's helpful!
Nice! I never tried / could an L sit either. Video inspired me to immediately try - and I instantly got it right haha. I can't do it as long, but I immediatly felt like I could do it. I need to train my hipflexors more though.
That's amazing! I'm glad the video is helpful!
Thanks bro. I struggeld with pushing myself of the ground and when your experience helped me so much!!!! I was learning it for months and I couldunt lift myself up. Again thanks because I finally can hold the L-Sith. You are the best!!!
Ps. Sorry for the bad writing I do my best😅
This is awesome! Glad I can help!
The curled fingers are really the magic sauce! Just got it after 3 weeks without the sauce 😂
Congrats!
OMG THANK YOU! This whole time I thought I just wasn't strong enough. I've been doing strength and conditioning for months at the gym just to do this and I finally got it today thanks to your advice on form! 😭😃
Amazing! Congrats! Glad I could help
Your video is amazing, thank you very much for the tips. It seems L-Sit is easy, but it's so hard, I can never do it. I will try to do like you showed, thank you!!!
Thank you! Glad I can help!
Thanks dude, the tips about fingers and starting from a tuck were crucial for me. I still need to build more strength now, but this helps tremendously to have a starting place and be able to do this at all. Thank you!
Glad I can help!
Good catch on the Heria "claw"! I saw that too in many of his other videos and said to myself, "there's gotta be something to that". Sure enough, with just a little bit of inward tension/pulling using curled fingers, it's like being able to "grab" a flat surface; of course it's not completely like grabbing bars/parallettes but it's enough so that you can engage a lot of the extra little muscles that help balance/coordinate your arms, and thus create more of a 'solid unit' from your shoulder all the way to your fingertips! It's this creating of a 'solid unit' that helps the rest of the muscles transmit more force, and transmit it more effectively. That's why you were able to hold it better on the solid floor vs the soft turf. Put some liquid chalk on your hand and you can put even more tension on the fingers and transmit even more effectively (on a hard surface that is)!
Exactly man!
This is a good quality video👏
Thank you!
Thank you bro that helped me because every tutorial I saw didn't help they just jump in to it
Glad I can help!
Awesome dude. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! Glad it's helpful!
Great tips, thanks!
Nice work man 👍💪

Man! You helped me!
wow .. great tips
Good tips!
Awesome dude. Thanks for sharing. That unlocks my new skill.
Nice! Super glad it's helpful!
Thanks a lot, this is really helpful
Glad it was helpful!
bro, you really nail it❤.
Thanks!
Great video keep it up bro
Good job Edward 👍
Thank you!
Awesome vid. Makes this seem attainable for mortals like me.
Sadly I can nowhere near touch my toes.
Thanks! I think if you keep stretching just five minutes a day you’ll touch your toe pretty quickly
Reallyy nicee video broo 🔥🔥
Thanks 🔥
Just discovered your videos! They are of great help, also saw Amsterdam videos. Are you living in Amsterdam?
Thanks! Yes I am living in Amsterdam!
@@badward-feng so nice. I just started out with calisthenics as well, also living in Amsterdam. Would love to train together sometime!
Oh yeah, when it gets warm I'll go to Rembrandt Park, if you see me please say hi!
Good técnica 😊
thank you:)
Thank you 👍
Awesome vedio
Super 👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
He talks sense!
Wow , that's unbelievable you did it in just 13 days
Thanks! I think it's relatively more achievable compared with other calisthenics moves. You should try it out as well. I'm sure it won't take long for you to get it!
I'm confused. I usually do my l sit on the floor and it's harder on the bars. I can l sit for 16 seconds
Nice! That’s quite uncommon. Generally it’s harder to control on the floor also the room for error is lower since your body is not elevated. But it’s great if you found this easier
could you make a video of changeling "Nordic Curls"? really curious how hard it would be.
That’s a good idea, it’s on my list. Will definitely get to it
same i wasnt doing the correct l sit just like you but after leaning abit back i can do 10secs
Congrats! Keep going!
👍👍👍👍👍
I can do L sit for 5 sec, but it hurts like hell in my forearms and in my elbows. Also injured my forearms a bit.Any suggestions plss..
Are you keeping your arms straight? It seems like you are not to me. Try keeping the arms straight and depress the scapula
can you please tell me how do i master pushups I can only do 6 knee pushups and i am 15
Hi yes! Glad you are interested in fitness at such a young age!
I think you should try attempting doing push ups with your feet on the ground at the beginning of each training and max those out. After that go to knee push ups and max them out as well.
Don’t need to train every day. Train hard for a day and rest for a day or two. Eat enough protein and sleep enough. You will see gains in no time
@@badward-feng thank you so much !
🔥
why are you that flexible?
Maybe because I’m asian? lol. I think just doing some stretches daily should help
Why am i moving back and forth while I'm up
I think it could be a few reasons: hand position not at the center of your mass, or a lack of scapula strength or core strength to stabilize
Sir ap camera use karte ho ya phone
Help im doing l sit for 4 months and I can’t master it i only hold lnsit for 8 seconds with my both feet is not elevated enough
Nice, being able to hold it for 8 seconds means you are flexible enough and probably just need to get stronger core strength and hip flexor strength.
I think you can try working on the exercise I showed at 0:43, 3 sets, 16 reps each set on your workout days
The l-sit took me 2 months to achieve
He’s leaving out details such as gym experience, prior calisthenics training, prep, the actual time it took to learn the L-sit, etc. trust me… nobody on earth is learning the L-sit in 13 days as a beginner with no prior experience in the world of calisthenics
😮wow
I was trying here but I still can't touch my toes.
I need to work on my stretch first right?
Yes! Toe touching is a prerequisite. But it should be really easy to achieve if you just stretch for like 5 minutes consistently for a few weeks
@@badward-feng Thanks, I'll work on this a little bit everyday.
Good luck! You can do this!
Yoo this video let me do it like 20 minutes
Thanks and congrats!
Awesome ,subscribe
Awesome, thank you!
nice youll be able to do 30 seconds soon inshallah
Haha thanks! You can do it too!
10 secs no way you , had the strength u just needed technique , and i bet u can do it before even u started this tutorial
Yeah I think I had the strength, that's why I learned this relatively quickly. It was more about the techniques for me
Nice video but this cant be true
😂 yeah it depends on the person where his physique are, these guys knew L before making the video
Just train hard stop watching shit ton of videos
Nice now tuck planche its hard to learn too
Will do planche in the future for sure, stay tuned!
