Definitely one of the best tutorials I came across on RUclips. And these exercises, in addition to helping you achieve the V- Sit, are also very good for triceps, at least mine are feeling it a lot! 🔥👏🏽😁👌🏽💯
Your lateral delt to brachialis bulk and tone is so beautiful, it’s a really balanced V like shape like male Olympia winners, except they have it with their lats to core
I do those Pike compressions and Pike stretching daily. Hip flexor strength is important because that muscle literally holds your legs up.i have ankle weights so that's how' i progress.
you forgot shoulder.....and upper body.... lower body exerceses without upper body... how would it be possible? .....look at your shoulders and arms in mirror
She makes it look easy but it is one of the hardest exercise. Beginner should first start with developing core by doing regular leg raises, flutters, crunches and cycling.
I cant even do the seated L-sit leg raise! Its very hard for me to just lift my both legs up 😅 but i will try to practice it everyday to improve my strength and flexibility ❤
The back doesn't need to be fully straight. Or do you mean you're rounding your back? In that case work on the scapula depression and even retraction by pushing down your shoulders!
Very cool. I’m into powerlifting, but, I feel this can complement my program without conflicts. I have difficulties with weak hip flexors and bringing my lower spine into flexion (opposite problem of most lifters). Curious to see if I work on this, whether the level of compression required to maintain V-sit angle will help with that.
@@XtheGreat_1028 Agree to disagree. The top position is not as difficult as the compression strength needed to get there. I'd argue that by the time someone could do the exercise the way she showed it, they'd essentially already have the v-sit.
@@XtheGreat_1028 You've seen a bunch of people who already have v-sit use this exercise. You've effectively reiterated my point. Yes, anyone who has the prerequisites you mention can do this exercise, they can also likely v-sit because of those same prerequisites.
@@XtheGreat_1028 i read the part where you said people who already have v-sit do this exercise. and she's not doing a "tuck v-sit" she's extending into a v-sit, pay attention.
V Sit is my favourite exercise. This is the reason that got me into calisthenics. Starting this from tomorrow onwards. I'll get back in 6-9 months. Thanks Malin!
With the last exercise with the feet on the wall and your arms straight, instead of using your abs to pull your chest to your knees, you should to the opposite and push your legs into the wall and your chest away from your knees. You should be pushing against the floor with your hands. This would be "PNF Stretching" or Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching. PNF stretching is an extremely effective technique for lengthening your muscles, but you need to be careful because it can easily be pushed too far and can cause damage. This method basically hacks/tricks the reflex that prevents you from stretching your muscles too far.
i think i want to buy some parallettes & finally start training for this.. it's one of the most impressive fitness goals I can imagine achieving, it looks so cool I used to practise the L sit, I did olympic weightlifting for many years so my legs were huge.. even now they are still much larger than most peoples lol, so it makes it quite difficult & i'm 6'3 on top of that but i really want to do this this tutorial is awesome
@@Calixpert I will check it you for sure!! Cheers and keep you the good work. Oh, btw, can you do a wideo on how you workout routines look like throughout a week? Do you work out everyday and working on a different skill? Or you do full body workout 3 days a week plus some days skill routine in between? This would be super interesting to see your approach! Cheers!!! 😎
“6 Exercises to learn the V-Sit”- First exercise: V-Sit 😅😅
Not true! You lift your legs as high as possible in the first exercise, and as you can see it's not a hold ;)
Definitely one of the best tutorials I came across on RUclips. And these exercises, in addition to helping you achieve the V- Sit, are also very good for triceps, at least mine are feeling it a lot! 🔥👏🏽😁👌🏽💯
We're so happy to hear that! Thanks for the support :)
Love how you broke down the correct form for the exercises. Can you make a follow-along for this 6 exercises for beginners please?
Your lateral delt to brachialis bulk and tone is so beautiful, it’s a really balanced V like shape like male Olympia winners, except they have it with their lats to core
Wow thanks!
I love her, so honest, and sincerely talented, greatest appreciation for sharing.
😀🥰
Great content and presenter, good luck with the channel!
Thank you 😊
Hello Malin ! Many thanks for all these advices and tips. You are really the best ! 😊
Thanks!
One of the best tutorials on V sit..no need to watch any other video after this
Your triceps look so good
We could all use more STRENGHT!
True!
AWESOME tips!
Thanks!
You. Need strong arms and shoulders first of all 😊
Yes also, but ask somebody who has strong arms and shoulder to try it and you will see they will not do it :)
That’s not what the person is saying. The person is saying having strong shoulders and arms is pre-requisite.
And performance enhancing drugs 😂
You need strong hair first
It puts pressure on triceps not on shoulders
I do those Pike compressions and Pike stretching daily. Hip flexor strength is important because that muscle literally holds your legs up.i have ankle weights so that's how' i progress.
That sounds great!
I use to practise the v sit in the bath when I was a kid and before I knew it I could do it on the floor anywhere 😊
Crazy!
Good explanation!!
Are you a gymnast? You have some unusual strenght, impressive
you forgot shoulder.....and upper body.... lower body exerceses without upper body... how would it be possible? .....look at your shoulders and arms in mirror
That's true, but it's alot in your lower body :)
Could cover some extra exercises in the next videos
Great presentation 😀😀 I can't thank you enough 😁.
Happy to hear!
The third one is such an underrated core exercise. I do that one on a dips stand.
That's great!
She makes it look easy but it is one of the hardest exercise. Beginner should first start with developing core by doing regular leg raises, flutters, crunches and cycling.
A fundamental core strength is absolutely gonna be helpful!
Great strength Malin. Gymnastics n body weight exercises are the best!!! Good stuff n take care.
Thanks! We agree :D
Professional sporty, cute and strong at the same time
Happy to hear :)
Merci
Our pleasure!
I cant even do the seated L-sit leg raise! Its very hard for me to just lift my both legs up 😅 but i will try to practice it everyday to improve my strength and flexibility ❤
With a lot of practice you will eventually be able to do it!
What time do you get up and what time do you go to bed?
Going to bed usually around 23.00, and waking up at around 7.30
This is amazing. I was doin close to this as a preteen. I can still do it. Not as long. Can’t wait to perform this. Thank you 🤲🏿
Good luck on your journey! :)
@@Calixpert Much Appreciated

One Bruce Lee's Workout❤
:D
Through the whole video I was just looking at the arms. Its huge.
😅
I cant keep my back straight. Any advice?😢
The back doesn't need to be fully straight. Or do you mean you're rounding your back? In that case work on the scapula depression and even retraction by pushing down your shoulders!
Great feminine, muscular, physique.💪
:)
damn........................strong woman
Malin is strong, yes :)
Beautiful natty girl. Impressive progressions.
:)
I love your thic shoulder and powerful arms
Thanks!
Next time when she says "i would like to 'visit' you", you know.
Haha
What is the Name of the V-SIT Training Device
Parallettes - you can find them in the description.
Nevermind that v sit, check out those arms and shoulders.
Very cool.

I have difficulties with weak hip flexors and bringing my lower spine into flexion (opposite problem of most lifters).

Then this will definitely help you strengthen those hipflexors!
impressive girl big biceps
❤
Most will end up saying 😂 *We Shit!*
:)
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Do it on the floor.
Where are the basic steps? 😅
That’s never going to happen.
Never say never..
Photoshop.
Nope!
She's very capable, but literally the first "exercise" is a V-sit. How do you learn v-sit by just doing a v-sit? Silly.
If you listen to the tutorial you would know that we are not expecting a beginner to be able to lift as high or as clean as Malin is doing :)
Listening to bad advice doesn't magically make it good advice.

0:04 Malin turns towards the camera and we see her grapefruit sized delts and we learn what success looks like.
W Sit is also wonderful. First thing I do in the morning.
How is it going?

Definitely not working for me, I just don't have the genetic requirement to do such things 😫
Never blame the genetics :)
The size of her shoulders and arms!!
:)
Thank you for the vid. You're very cute btw.
No problem 😊
Its okay for person sith herniated disc ?
You should check that with your doctor :)
💜💜💜

Ok. So. Learn an L-sit first. Ok

Bruce Lee stuff.🤔
True that!

are these exercises mainly for women or men too?
For both :)
Hello, I have a question. In the second excercise, how many reps I should do?
TELL ME, YOU ONLY DID THESE EXERCISES, WHICH ARE SHOWN IN THIS VIDEO, TO RAISE YOUR LEGS SO HIGH WITH HOLDING AT THE UP?
Very hard indeed..
If it was easy everybody would do it..
She as big as me😳
Is that a problem?
Incredible form and your process is so impressive. Thanks for sharing.

"It may look like it only requires mobility..." No, you can clearly see it takes a lot of strength. I'll try it but I doubt I can ever... Kudos!
Sure! But a lot of people are saying that it only requires mobility..

It was quite advanced !! especially the first one!! but i am determined.
Remember that you do YOUR best! You don't have to lift the legs as high as Malin is doing in the beginning!
Great. Thankyou
Big fan of your shoulders

Who is this woman?
Are you Russian?
Blonde woman with green eyes, my favorite combo...
Malin is Swedish
Incredible strength and body! Instant subscriber ;-) P.S. might i ask: is height an impeding factor when learning skills?
It could be, but not something you should focus on as an excuse
@@Calixpert Maybe. Or maybe not.
Def harder if you are taller, not a suprise that most of gymnast are smaller people
Honestly, this is Gabo Saturno levels of useful calisthenics content, can't wait to see you reach his numbers on youtube.

Happy to hear! Thanks :)
Thank you
