Saw your video this morning and called Interstate Honda just on the off chance that they still had this bike. Long story short I drove down from Cheyenne and am now the proud owner of this 2012 Tenere after 30 yrs of riding Harleys and Triumphs. Also Zach was a pretty cool dude to deal with.
Excellent! I'm glad you bought it, it was a pleasure to ride. I wanted it, but the garage is full. If you would like me to take you on some simple dirt roads, you can reach me at ridingwithmarshall@gmail.com
It sounds like a good bike. I think all big adventure bikes should have shaft drive. The more you ride in the dirt the more you benefit. I also hate chain drive. I know it makes perfect sense on a bike built for all out performance. I prefer the longevity and reliability of a shaft drive. I think the paralel twin makes more sense than the opposing twin of the BMW.
If it fitted me, I would have had that in a heart beat at that price. The fun you could have on all them trails out there in Colorado. The engine bars and the Givi Boxes protect it if you drop it. The driveshaft is a nice bonus too. How much does it weigh by the way?...lol
I brought one 3 months ago no regrets rides great done a decat fitting Arrows header pipes and a titanium Acropovic muffler much lighter than standard item, sounds very nice especially on the overrun but not too loud.
I had a 2013 I grabbed for $5500 loaded with some goodies. Then a found a pretty blue 12 with Yamaha bags and 41k for $4k. I moved over the goodies from the 13 to the 12 and flipped the 13. Rides like a dream! Penske shock makes the rear end so plush.n Love these bikes. Most underated large ADV out there. Buy the way I am 5'11 and the oem shield works perfectly. Zero buffeting
Have 2 Super T,s ...... i have a 30" inseam and weigh 160LB. .... No problem with riding it , Dropping it , or picking it up ..... really is a great machine. Highly recommend .

I love not worrying about my chain condition when I'm 50 miles into the Rockies.
I bought a 2013 last August and I’ve loved every second of owning it. Looking forward to a bunch of trips on it this summer.

The front forks are fully adjustable too preload, rebound, compression damping. Love my ST. Everything you say and much much more.
Just bought the same bike for 6K this week.
Hey Marshal, loved your contents especially this video! Do you need help editing your videos/ thumbnails?

wow, what a deal! If only my legs were just a little longer...
I'm wondering if they got taller after that year. I've sat on some that I knew were a nope size. This one was manageable.
