im interested in using the hydration bladder but the last nelson rigg bladder i got didnt work unless i took the bite tip off. bag was solid quality tho
@@Nelsonriggusa at the time you guys sent a replacement and it was identical, was disappointed since the bag is so nice. I purchased a different brand valve and used that
You definitely need a 30l in your line. 40 is too big for Enduro, 20 is too small. Kriega US30 fills the gap. If you did a 30, I'd have (and still would) bitten your hand off for the fact that your packs have a molly panel and is a proper backpack. I backpacked around the world with a 30l. Most experienced packers go for 30/35 as it's the perfect size.
This is great feedback. Dimensionally how would you like to see that 30L distributed? Same as the 30L you mentioned above? Or... skinnier and taller? Or... wider and shorter? We would love to learn what your "perfect bag" would look like.
@@Nelsonriggusa Hi Nelson. Exactly the proportions you have it now with the 40, just as a 30. I can't see anything on these packs that would need altering to improve them to be fair.
Oh we have! Hours, days and once even over a week of rain riding non-stop. All of our contents DRY. These two have been replaced by a 30 Liter version. Check it out here: ruclips.net/video/LcomBKJUCAE/видео.htmlsi=ZPOQ_d50j_qradIH
2:27 to 2:32. INteresting..According to Spurge at revzilla.com...the ONLY waterproof part of this bag is the big open inner bag part..not any of the outer zip up nor the clear pouch? hmmm. well...guess I need to put a piece of blank paper in these outter pouches and water hose test it..eh? xD
The outer zipper for the removeable map pouch has a water resistant zipper and the clear pocket has a self sealing ziplock style closure. But yes the main compartment is really the main waterproof part of the bag.
@@Nelsonriggusa Was this only as a tailbag and then when finished riding the rider carefully placed the bag on the ground and emptied around 25 pounds of it to be carried on his or her back as a backpack? Or was this for many minutes or hours being used as a hiking backpack on someone's back? I just received bought my first 40L nelson rigg hurricane waterproof backpack/tailpack today and am working on confirming safe worst case maximum weights both backpack and tailbag for this bag as gently as possible.
@@motoryzen Mostly as a tail bag. Carrying/walking with 50 lbs for an extended period isn't recommended with this bag. This is not a technical hiking backpack designed for very long hikes.

Sorry to hear of your bite valve situation. That is not normal. Are you still using our gear?

The 30 Liter is now alive! ruclips.net/video/LcomBKJUCAE/видео.html
@@Nelsonriggusa Brilliant! Can't see it on your site yet, will keep watching. PS: Your link doesn't work
How heavy are these bags? Could they be used long distance hiking?
Put it to the test in water to see how it works.

Might any of you know the weight capacity for the pack? I'm interested in the product for mainly wearing it as I walk the earth.
We have tested the bag carrying 50 lbs. Zero issues.
