try adding a teeny bit of nutritional yeast to give it a really rich "did this come from a cow?!" buttery, (almost cheesy) flavor!!! love your channel btw
woops just watched your aip cheese vid and now i know why you personally don't use nutritional yeast, i'll also be looking into that "cross reaction" thing you mentioned!
Love this idea... any luck baking gluten free? You inspired me to make my own spicy pickled mexican concoction. Heat up some olive oil and fry some garlic, ginger, carrots and onions then add apple cider vinegar, oregano, sea salt and pepper let it simmer and presto! Since we cant have peppers its my take on pickle peppers.
mayra mendoza That sounds amazing!!!! I'm gonna try that! I don't bake just because I try to keep my sugar intake really low and if I bake something sweet and yummy I'm gonna eat it- so I don't make that stuff, lol. To treat myself to something extra special I spend too much money on salmon caviar or scallops :)
I don’t know how to thank you🙏, you have been amazing with all these fantastic and delicious ideas/recipes. I don’t know how I would survive AIP without you, I’m on day 30 now. Every time I get a minute I’m watching your videos.
trakba I look for "BPA free" on the plastic bags I buy but even then I try to minimize using plastic. Sometimes convenience and laziness get the best of me though.
Sure! The crumbles are easier to make and you can use whatever amount you need because they are all different sizes. The cubes just look prettier and more butter-like ☺
Another amazing idea! The "butter" one was delicious!! I came back to write the other recipes down. Definitely trying the caper one and the galangal.. You rock! And my freezer is to small or all these things I want to try! :D Do you ever use neutral coconut oil? Maybe an idea for another video; what coconut oil to choose and why.. I've noticed you can get neutral organic coconut oil, but I've also read that it goes through extra processing, which might be bad?
kareelia I do use refined coconut oil for cooking! And I put extra virgin coconut oil in my "fat bombs" and re-intro'd coffee. If I was just using the flavor crumbles to melt onto pre-cooked food I would use virgin there too.
kareelia Nutiva coconut oil says on their site that they use steam and nothing else to refine their coconut oil- no hexane or other additives or chemicals.
Thanks.. I haven't seen nutiva, and if its not in the EU I wont even try (the wasabi was about $15 and then $24 in shipping, and then import toll would be added. LOL isn't that crazy?) But a while ago when I was reading up on this I just gave up and use extra virgin for everything.. These crumbles are heaven. I can't even tell you how much you are helping.
kareelia I'm so glad you liked them!! I do use refined coconut oil as long as it says expelled pressed, I usually buy Nutiva because their website says they don't use chemicals. Great idea for a future video, thank you!!
I have watched soooo many of your videos, not sure how I missed this!!!! Sooooo excited to try these, or something close 😉

You are right though, a touch of nutritional yeast would really bring it to another level of yumminess!!🤩💕

This makes me so happy to read!!😊 Congratulations on making it through 30 days of elimination phase, that is wonderful!!💗
Great video! Really inspirational.
Thank you so much!! :)
You can use a spoon to peel.
Just started AIP this week and I've been loving your content and your accent.
Awww, thank you so much!!! I didn't realize my accent was so noticeable until I went to Texas last week😂
YESSSS! I'm going to do this tomorrow!! Thank you so much.
HaggisVitae you're very welcome! These are a game-changer :)
What amazing ideas! Thank you!
I'm so glad they're helpful to you!!😊💕
These were such great recipes! So much flavour in all of them.. I’m going to try the first one :)
The first one is definitely the most versatile, I use them in everything! I hope you like them 😊
Just starting and wondering how i will make it without butter. Hoping some of these will help me get by.
Yes, these add so much flavor you won't miss butter😁
What a great, practical idea! Thanx!!!
Can't wait to try this as easy flavorings for meat.
That Hashi Girl I hope you like it! Let me know if you come up with any new combos! :)
Yum! I can't wait to try these! Thank you!
Michelle Cetlinski Thanks Michelle! :)
Hey Stacey, Are those plastic bags safe? no BPAs, estrogen, toxins worry you ?
trakba I look for "BPA free" on the plastic bags I buy but even then I try to minimize using plastic. Sometimes convenience and laziness get the best of me though.
Can you tell me the thought process behind making the cubes and the crumbles? Like, when would you use one over the other?
Sure! The crumbles are easier to make and you can use whatever amount you need because they are all different sizes. The cubes just look prettier and more butter-like ☺
You’re so creative?!
Thanks Darlene! :)
Is there a strong coconut flavor?
No, not at all! But you have to make sure to use "refined" coconut oil as the virgin coconut oil will taste like coconut😉
What do you mean by butter "pat"?
It's a little slice of butter that looks like this: images.app.goo.gl/7UBUPEqvLxSXR3C19
