In Canada's drag race, season 3 I believe, they did a design challenge where they all got the same fabric, so it was interesting to see what they all could do with the same material!
It was on season 3
And the funniest part was they did the dumb part where they assign different boxes with categories to different queens just to find out they all had the same 2 fabrics.
I always think of the line “this isn’t even my character, I just have the shakes”
The animal performance of this year is definitely the dog in ANATOMY OF A FALL

I remember rooting for Alaska too, but in hindsight I do think Jinkx gave the strongest performances this season and fully deserved to win! Alaska won AS2 anyway so it all worked out for the best I think. Also, Jinkx winning All Winners was wonderful!

“Here’s a dress, accessorise it to [insert brief]” used to be quite a common judging panel challenge on ANTM so I’m surprised Ru never adopted it for drag race
I love this idea for a design challenge.. same wig same basic dress.. drag it up! Go
They did these as two mini challenges in season 2! The wigs was the mini challenge for the rocker girl ep and the plan black dress was for the final four eps!
To me, Alaska's speech was too insincere and stiff. Yes, it was the assignment, but if you follow the prompt to closely it can also seem forced. It was my problem with her this entire season, and that she almost never stood up for Jinkx when other people were in the room. Ad threw Jinkx under the bus on stage, only to say in Untucked to Jinkx that she did it for strategic reasons.

Any time I like Alaska in these recaps I just remember her meltdown and offering other competitors $10,000 to let her win.

Like imagine the "What happened to Merle Ginsberg" but it's just filmed with top three and everyone has a chance to play Ru, Merle and Michelle.

TBH I was SUCH a GetGlue fan. It was a letterboxd style of website, where you'd check in to your favorite tv shows and movies, and after a while they sent you a pack of stickers of your choosing as memorabilia of those check ins. As someone who doesn't live in the US, and most merch it was really expensive to buy, I was so happy I could at least have some stickers I could plaster onto my school notebook. And if I'm not wrong, shipping was free too.
I was so bummed when they stopped doing it.

Genuinely still not a Roxxxy fan, she did redeem her personality on AS2, but she’s always left a bad taste in my mouth because of this episode.
It’s been like a decade my guy and she explained the exact head space she was in and apologized for it. Like what 😂

I will maintain that Roxxxy should’ve won. Her tackiness is just part of being a Florida queen.
I will also never get Jinx. Don’t like her aesthetics and I don’t think she is funny. And on the words of Alaska “her makeup is terrible.”

I was 100% sure she was gonna win when I saw it. She had winner energy and was part of the most epic lip sync ever!!! I mean come on, jinx and Alaska still seemed very amateur while roxy was more well rounded.

Jinx didn't win the season on aesthetics. They improved but they weren't as strong as Roxxxy's. Jinkx isn't funny to you, and that's okay. What is Jinx good at? Acting. Theater. She's on Broadway in a starring role in Chicago. She has a role as a villain on Doctor Who. Bianca Del Rio also didn't have the strongest looks. Didn't win acting challenges. Her thing was *comedy*. You say Roxxxy should have won, but then what? Why is she the next drag superstar? Would she be as successful with that stardom as Jinkx is with acting? I really don't think so. Being good at make-up and making costumes only gets you so far.
