Chainsaw is my go to I NEED BLOOD gun and it’s very useful for healing in that aspect, also for some reason if you chainsaw a virtue a little then launch it then it usually can kill them very easily
ok im sorry for talking abt weapons twice in a row but i see this idea that chainsaw is useless because it "requires" inhuman perfection a lot. I think thats the wrong way to think about it. chainsaw shines for me because its easy to start using and gives a lot of potential, especially in use with other weapons. projectile boosting while charging chainsaw instantly boosts the chainsaw to max range, making it a 4.5+ damage addon to the already useful projectile boost afterwards, ill give you that the chainsaw is practically impossible to juggle consistently, but i also see this as a huge point for how it feels to use it over long periods of time. not being able to learn chainsaw timing quickly makes this the second weapon that seems to have an infinitely high skill ceiling, but where marksman scales with knowledge, chainsaw scales with time and experience. its not that you can juggle it forever that makes it good; its that you can juggle it at all. its bonus damage that is *always* good and can *only* get better as you use it more and more
I honestly agree with pretty much everything you said here but one shotgun has to be the worst, and it's not like it's bad or useless, I just think unfortunately the sawed-on is the default 3rd variant for me, just not as useful as the other variants for me. I dunno if you watched the whole VOD but I did have a better appreciation for it by the end, which is the goal of these playthroughs ultimately.
I just did it for the meme on the pistol playthrough, I was playing on this exact same save file and had everything unlocked there as well, it's not like an actual rule of this challenge that I'm imposing on myself, I just did it for fun and cause it felt appropriate with pistols.
