- Soulash 2 is a fantasy sandbox roguelike roleplaying indie game. It features a procedurally generated open world with simulated history, a skill-based progression system, customizable combat abilities, material-based crafting, building, trading, and the freedom to conquer and plunder.
Soulash 2 is coming to Steam Early Access on December 4, 2023, with the gameplay focused on adventuring. The development direction will concentrate on adding depth to the living world with more ways to interact with it, an army management system that will support the conquest mechanics, and a continuation of the story from the first game.

Напоминает Dwarf Fortress Adventurer Mode по описанию и виду). Планируются личные отношения или генерируемые на ходу квесты как в DF? Будет ли в игре одна цель, или цель сделать что то более DF-like, с огромной свободой в занятиях и реализации себя в мире? 😄
По странице в магазине, могу предположить, что в игре планируется поддержка пользовательских модов/карт, было бы интересно посмотреть во что это выльется
Интересно услышать непосредственно от разработчика своё виденье конечного продукта.
К тому же, раз так немало планов, возможно было бы неплохо объединить усилия с каким-нибудь разработчиком, со схожими планами? Было бы и веселее, и игра увидела бы свет раньше, и раньше можно было бы получить фидбек и заняться финальной полировкой игры, или добавлением контента)

I do this mainly solo as we're operating on a very small budget, but I employ an artist and my wife is helping with content. :)

I feel like removing the player and enemy sprites and replacing them with little thumbnail pictures really takes away from the aesthetic that was so appealing in Soulash 1. I'd prefer a sprite over a little picture.
