Great video CG! I have the Red soap and aftershave in my regular rotation with fantastic results. Love these products.

Since I posted my first comment here, I’ve become a fan of Proraso Blue. Like it a lot. Last night I recommended Proraso Red to someone looking for shaving products that help folks with Coarse Beards. Thanks, classical grooming, for all that you do.

I love Proraso Green! I usually squirt about a quarter-sized amount in a small lather bowl and it gives me a very creamy, aerated lather in short order. I’ll give your method a try!

And I'll have to try a bowl lather! Thanks for contributing!

Very good review. Haven’t used any of their products for quite awhile. Any plans to perhaps review other Proraso products in the future? Thank you, sir.

That is a very dry lather with proraso consider putting the cream on your brush to spread it out and use a lot more water proraso loves water

Always looking for ways of improving my technique. Thanks for the tip!

Your brush is way too dry. This is why you do not get a good volume of lather, not even a good paste. Just gently shake the brush twice, do not squeeze. If you are using a boar bristle brush, it need to soak for a good five minutes to absorb water.

Thanks for the advice! Every time I try something new, it seems to take me a while to dial in a good lather. I'll follow your lead and use a wetter brush next time.

@@classicalgrooming It's totally up to you. If that's the way you like your lather so be it. But, in every video I have watched your later is very thin and undeveloped. It is not the result that the manufacturer intends. Looks like your brush is way too dry and you probably don't load enough.

I've never found it as easy to get the lathering right with Proraso compared to other creams I use like Taylor of Old bond street. Maybe your hand applying technique is better?

I haven't tried any of the Taylor of Old Bond Street yet, so I don't have a comparison. I did find that it lathered pretty well for me. Thanks for the observation!

Could be this guy is affraid of
water? That brush is dry. You
never can get a decent lather
like that. Soak the brush and
    use circular motions and you
    will see a different result.
