Iv always been a lover of amazing music 🎶🎵its my go to for relaxing and getting away from the heartache of daily life.your music brings a tear to my eyes.and transports me back to a better time and place.thank you love all your music ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Doug, I mean what more can I say? Everything that you do with that instrument is dead on. As an old and arthitic guitar and banjo player, no longer able to play it makes me proud to happily listen to your songs and choice of music. It also makes kind of sad that i can no longer play. Stay safe and may God bless you and yours for entertaining us.
Oh boy, this brought back memories. Rebel Rouser was one of the first tunes I learned when I got my first guitar 64 years ago at age 16. Thank you, I'm smiling again!
The year I turned 15, this was being played on all the radio stations in Milwaukee, at every sock hop or CYO dance - it was EVERYWHERE! Doug, you do it justice and honor Duane Eddy by your rendition!
Oh, my. This took me right back to my high school gum dances and what great music we had as well as what FUN we had. THANK YOU! I'm so glad their showed up!
Oh how i would love to learn how to play the steel guitar. I would love to see you play. I live in Maine so i would love a daytime event. Eye problem don't like driving at night.
Back to the days when I was a "teeny bopper"! I bought all the Duane Eddy singles records then, just as they were released. Loved your cover version, Doug - full of that twangy guitar sound of yesteryear.
@@dougsteelI bought two electric guitars half a year ago. Normally I only play acoustic guitar. I did not own an electric guitar for the last 10 years. First song I jumped at was Rebel Rouser. Then Apache and Ghost riders. I never considered to try slide on Rebel Rouser. I will now. I have a jet slide so I can quickly change to slide.
I usually hate guitar players because they learn three or four chords and just strum a guitar. And they called themselves musicians. But you sir, can PLAY A GUITAR. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed it.
