@Anisnowcyber The Gamecube was better as an individual gamer because you could put in way more NPCs. I liked to hold out in this map with a sniper rifle and pick off the CPUs as they piled toward the castle/cabin like lemmings.
Better gaming. When memories were made every day with close friends or family. Not everything was about 'did you see that clip', it was a 'you had to be there'
@@glitchxedfix134 There's nothing really stopping people from doing that now. It's just that playing over the internet is a lot more convenient and easy to set up.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the ABSOLUTE FILTH that is the slap bass in this track? Also the one random cuckoo clock sound they throw in? @2:04
The memories of getting in the gondola to escape and your friend who had been chasing you arriving just too late for the gondola and you depart with hm trying to shoot the gondola. I loved it.
Best fricken FPS to play with your buddies. I spent countless hours with my cousin playing this game! Single player mode was pretty awesome too. I enjoyed playing with the bots!
Fun fact: Baron Samedi can see you from ANYWHERE on the map, given a free line of sight. Likely because he is a supernatural being, but it could also be a mistake in his coding or something. This makes him the only character other than Oddjob that has a "special ability". He can see you all the way from top of one base to the other, and he WILL fire rockets from that distance (easiest to do if you are on top of the castle, and he on the lodge).
Loved SkyRail! One of my favourites for long distance combat. And when one had Gun placments on...the rocket launcher battles were amazing. I used to call this map Yakuzza Mowdown as we were always agains Yakuzza when we set up the game :P
my sister and I would always play against james bond and 5 aluras since they'd always follow bond around and form a mini army. other people have done this, right? lmao
I also did this! But I added two Dominiques into the mini army (so three Aluras and two Dominiques), and changed their speed to "Fast" so they could keep up with Bond, and of course also changing personality to Guardian so that they follow him. Was also fun to max Bond's stats. I used to give his followers a small shot, and Bond actually noticed this (even from far away) and changed his route. Maybe the bots know (or at least have a "feeling") where you are if you damage them, even outside viewing range? Small "fun fact"; Baron Samedi can see you from ANYWHERE on the map, provided there is a clear line of sight (so you could say he is the only one other than Oddjob who has a special feature). I used to stand on top of the castle while Samedi was on top of the lodge, and he actually fired rockets at me from that distance!
This song IS the memories of playing this at 3 years old with my brother; he'd show me how to snipe people with sentiel rockets on the roof and I'd blow him up with trip mines when he wasn't looking... Good times...
Did anyone else used to max out the bass settings on their tv's on the sound options to beef the fuck outta the bassline on this map? I listen to this track in it's own right just for the bass alone. Utter class!!!!
The Golden Wolfram P2K...is simply the best 9mm pistol that ever existed: excellent accuracy, same goes for ammo capacity and abundance of ammunition, not to mention the sheer firepower it provided and last but not least the suppressor as alt firing mode (that feature is only useful in the campaign though). I would always remember discovering this weapon in this map, before unlocking its full potential in the Phoenix Fire mission, which features this music as well...
i love this game so classic. the music totally makes it. played this first time i smoked weed and it was the greatest thing ive ever treated my ears to i felt like a robotic fish
Lol, this Mp map and the theme ( obviously this) are awesome! I used to go with my friend alone into this map, go to the opposite buildings( the one on top of the hills and one at the bottom) search good places to fire sentinels ( the self-controlled rockets) and tried to shoot each other to pieces from impossible angles :D That was awesome! :D
Hours and hours and hours spent with my mates on splitscreen, blowing the shit out of eachother with heatseekers. Best multiplayer game ever on a par with TimeSplitters!
sticky laserbombs to guard either the castle or the house, also, sneaky laserbombs in the skyrail cart :D It was better than the remote bombs in the toilet of facility in Goldeye.
The best map for hunters like me >:3 Sentinels... The arrow gun, the phoenix samurai... ahhh~ I'm so glad to have this game ♡ Also, this plays on the story mode, at the Phoenix Fire mission at the elevator part.
the amount of times me and my mate just went on here, an the shit we did, trap each other with those laser bombs, even run across the ropes of the rail carts :D:D
Fuckyeahhh such awesome memories xDD me and my bro would play against each other with bots in team. We played on split screen, but we also didnt want to be able to peak each other's screens. So we taped a wall of cardboard in the middle of the screen so we couldnt peak :D and we also recorded our games. It was so fun to watch afterwards how we unknowingly accidentally pass by each other while we are trying to sneak attack each other
Well, I do agree with you. If you ask me, most people do not use proper grammar when they comment on a youtube video. Although, sometimes I do write comments with proper grammar to the best of my ability, which depends if I am lazy or not. This comment probably has bad grammar too. Like my other comments in this thread.
Running around on this map as Bond against Drake, Kiko, Rook and what other character, whilst playing (now i can't remember the name of this mode) but with the discs, and having the PP7 with silencer. Oh good ol' memories of this. I'm surprised that the AI Bots on Nightfire actually thought and not cowards on today's games PP7 with silencer is by far the better pistol
I think we can all agree that this is the best map ever.
Indeed
GummyBear 2 Oh Yeah it is. Same goes with the level's song.
This is the best music ever.
Used to love having 1V1 duels with the RC helicopter and tank 😂
@Anisnowcyber The Gamecube was better as an individual gamer because you could put in way more NPCs. I liked to hold out in this map with a sniper rifle and pick off the CPUs as they piled toward the castle/cabin like lemmings.
This map was the fucking shit with the Sentinel
Everyone chose this map with phone grapple and of course, the Sentinel. Amazing.
+The00Game oh yeah but dont forget the lazer trip bombs xD
The00Game Glad I have the game c':
Damn the memories come flooding back!
The00Game sentinel😠
you had to try like 4 times before the grappel could hook
When you didn't have access to internet and Split screen meant something.
Ah yes...I miss the days of old: sitting on couches with friends, eating junk food and enjoying each other's company. End of an era in some ways
@@glitchxedfix134 definitely
Better gaming. When memories were made every day with close friends or family. Not everything was about 'did you see that clip', it was a 'you had to be there'

Moment taken!
DE-STROYS the bass here. Unreal!!!!!!!
This entire soundtrack was absolutely filled with bangers. And even though nearly all of them incorporated the bond theme they all felt so distinct.
1:05 This Sound Efffect is GOLD
The memories of getting in the gondola to escape and your friend who had been chasing you arriving just too late for the gondola and you depart with hm trying to shoot the gondola. I loved it.
Fond memories of walking across the gondola lines and sniping the shit out of my older brother. Good times...
Me too. Those were the times my friend :)
When suddenly... you see missile coming to gondola xD
memories. I still play this game to this day. truly one of the best bond games.
@Joshua Lister nope. Gotta get a new cable for my ps2 lol. Also finally able to afford psvr and have been addicted to it.
@Joshua Lister haha, I got a notification for it, and for once my phone wasn't backed up with them so I saw it.
The briefcase minigun turret was pretty cool in this game
Yes the Ronin 🙂
i like your pfp
Weapon Set: State of the Art
Spawn with AIMS-20
Switch to grenade launcher and wreck everyone because bots can't alt-fire
Good Times
SamZippo can't forget the Phoenix Samurai with it's beam power and over charge mode.
Samurai overcharge PIWWW
@@DHCNetwork06 the bots were OP with the samurai though and the FRIGGIN NOISE AHHHH
Such an underrated game. This is one of my favorite maps in any FPS ever. Ah, the good old days of spamming with the Sentinel....
Replying to a 9yr old comment I know I know haha. But still, fr this game is amazing. My fav game ever, honestly it’s that good!
@@sawyerdale7338 there are still people here ;)
I still play this. Greatest Bond game of all time along with Goldeneye, N64 World Is Not enough, and Agent Under Fire!!
MMMMMMMMMM THAT BASS SLAP THAT SHIT MAAAAAAN
Right around 0:48 the bass player thinks "I wonder how many notes I could possible fit in while keeping in rhythm"
Best multiplayer map in video game history
Best fricken FPS to play with your buddies. I spent countless hours with my cousin playing this game! Single player mode was pretty awesome too. I enjoyed playing with the bots!
I used to play with my cousin too! We would spend hours playing
This was the game you rented or brought over for sleepovers
Me too bro! It was the best!
walking on gondola lines and shooting everyone with Oddjobs Hat. the good ol times

Best map, best music. I think about this song often and I played it when it first came out.
I love how the soundtrack to these games where just 237 different ways to play the James Bond Theme Song lol and they're all f**king awesome.
Amazing soundtrack. This is my kind of shooting music.
The memories come flowing
This reminded me of when I would always set up bots and they would always go to the back of the big house. P.S. I LOVED FLYING THE MINI HELICOPTERS :)
As did 100% of the people who played this game. Man, the tanks were impossible too.
+Elliot Wyatt They're not too hard, you just need to get used to it.
played the game on xbox. Masterpiece. I would hope for a PC remaster, but the story and multiplayer of the xbox version
I preferred the guided missiles. Once I got my hands on one of them sentinels it was pretty much over 😂
@@xx294Sentinel and Golden Gun were OP
I miss games that have guns with goofy alternate fire modes.
I agree 100 percent
Lol I can still remember rook, drake, jaws or Kiko's hilarious scream when they're hurt or die.
This song go haaaaaaard
This song also played in the elevator part of Phoenix Fire.. Damn guards trying to sabotage the lift as you reach the lower level. :P
Loved SkyRail! One of my favourites for long distance combat. And when one had Gun placments on...the rocket launcher battles were amazing.
I used to call this map Yakuzza Mowdown as we were always agains Yakuzza when we set up the game :P
i think the skyrail was the only good map, all the other ones are empties to me.
lolmetaknight Well Fort Knox was also very good in my opinion, especially when you had two players/bots as Oddjob and Goldfinger.
I loved zooming between the castle and the cabin on opposite sides of the map with the cell phone grapple. XD
my sister and I would always play against james bond and 5 aluras since they'd always follow bond around and form a mini army. other people have done this, right? lmao

I went to the extent of giving the blue team different characters and making them guardian for their army

Admit it we only played this map because it was dope and had the armour packs ❤️
The map where all disputes were settled
Always loved playing this level, both for how cool it looked as well as to listen to the awesome music.
BEST Bond Game ever made! and dont tell me about goldeneye...

GoldenEye is King! Jk NightFire Rocks!
They should remake it :) I always play this with my brothers on Skyrail all the time.
