It’s amazing how Q is always working on the specific gadget Bond needs to beat that particular nemesis. I dare say, it’s almost as if he’s an INSIDE MAN.
Even more amazing why he uses said gadget in just that movie. Imagine how many jams he could have gotten out of if he kept the wrist dart gun from Moonraker? Sorry. Got off reality for a minute.
And the original script had him using the jets and a boat that was sinking after being hit with a round from that gun she used then tossed away earlier to jump over the bridge. But during rehearsal the guy who built the Q Boat accidentally pulled both levers and the boat had so much stopping power that it forced the nose into the water. And since the boat still had its momentum. The boat dove completely underwater as it kicked up a lot of water in front. Everyone on shore and in chase boats thought that he had crashed and destroyed the boat around him. Instead the boat shot up out of the water a few yards from where it went in.

@@gail_blue well I agree with all of that but if you double check the script you'll see none of that is actually in the script so that's all down to the direction, not the writing. The story is actually pretty good and one of the slightly more gritty Brosnan films. It's a problem that has plagued Bond films since the 60's, a strain of juvenile silliness runs through the DNA of the whole series. You'll be limited to a small handful of pre-Craig films if you want realistic, serious Bond films. Or just stick to the books.
@@grantmalone Casino Royale is overrated bland Bourne wannabe trash
@@grantmalone Amnesia plot aside, it's the EXACT same over the top tryhard to be gritty action, thrown in constantly without a good context behind any of it.
Early 2000 Hollywood Movies Un Imagable.. Jamebond Series, Mission Impossible, Avengers, Fast & Furious Series movies ❤️❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍
That little boat must have been extremely nauseating. With how much it was jumping around on the water, at high speeds no less. Props to whatever stunt driver had to get in that thing.
The coolest James Bond Ever.
The best bond, by far.
