      I'll bet Joe Biden wasn't your Commander in Chief!
      He is responsible for the 13 deaths of U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan with his failed withdrawal!
      They offered Joe Biden all of Kabul, but Joe Biden turned them down, he said all they needed was the airport.
      Kabul had two runways, neither of them were used.
      Joe Biden also let the POW'S go that had killed, maimed, or destroyed Allied Forces Soldier's lives and American Soldier's lives as well.

    I have liked Reagan since I was a kid listening to him narrate the TV show Death Valley Days. A fond memory of him was making the Iranians quake in their boots over what would happen if they didn't release our hostages. And no second Cuba in Granada; and no more American hostages ( American Med Students on the Island). I loved his sense of humor. He even cracked up Mondale during a debate with his quip about making age an issue. The days of a Ronald Reagan sitting down with a Tip O'Neill and having a respectful conversation on where they could agree are sadly gone. RIP Gipper!

    During his first campaign run for Pres he was giving a speech in the building were I was employed as a Railroad management employee. He said, "don't worry all you Railroad employees your jobs are secure", so I voted for him. Six months later I was unemployed. He had lifted the tariffs on imported steel which killed our Railroad and others. Nice guy isn't he.

    Compare Ronald Reagan to Donald Trump. Both Republicans, but entirely different. Reagan was a great man; Trump is a small man. Reagan was intelligent, perceptive, and empathetic. Trump is ignorant, clueless, and cruel.

    Yep.. Good ol Ronnie. The architect of the downfall of the working/middle class. Give the corporate rich massive tax breaks and then make social security a taxable income. Trickle down economics anyone? I mean they'll share won't they?

      It’s a fact that when businesses are paying less taxes, they grow and prosper and can afford to path their employees more.

    • @genuinetuffguy1854
      @genuinetuffguy1854 2 месяца назад +2

      @@jeffdavis8811 That depends…companies can just as easily accept that tax cut and then turn around and invest their capital overseas and outsource jobs to foreign entities. The morals and culture perpetuated by company leaders can dictate whether they are positive agents of change or self-serving autocrats of decay. The companies that endure over time have learned to contribute to the community while still remaining profitable. Those companies that have excessive greed tend to fall victim to their own worst tendencies. However, that said I think that excessive government regulations on corporations can stifle growth. I am much more of a proponent for tax incentives to help guide corporate behavior. When the government has to implement punitive measures it usually means that something is wrong. It’s like the old saying goes…better to offer a carrot than beat with a stick.

      @@jeffdavis8811 it's a fact that trickle down economics is a failed experiment that has never worked. 40 years of a experiment that's produced more wealth for the corporate rich while the middle/working class shoulders the burden. Greed doesn't share.
