Awesome! I've been wanting a company to make a keyboard/trackpad for years now and had no idea anyone was even trying to make one. I wouldn't mind a full size version of that to use on my Mac. Swiping on the keys as if it was a trackpad just seems so natural to me, but I'm not sure there are many others that feel the same.

I've got it on my BlackBerry Passport and I love it. I don't know what the experience would be like on a full size keyboard but on a smartphone where the only other means of input is the screen, its perfect. A single swipe to delete a word is a huge time saver and being able to precisely place the cursor between 2 letters is so much easier when youre finger isnt covering half the screen.

This is awesome. I think this is the future of keyboard. Really awesome.

Wish there was a trackball function. I use the steam controller to do PC gaming at my bed and the trackball function allows you to have a lower sensitivity for more precision, but still be able to have greater travel distance with the cursor.

I have been using these for years. I had the N5901 (which died years ago), then the N5902 (Non-backlit) and the N5902 (Backlit). Was hoping to get another, but Lenovo no longer makes them. I ordered one of these today. Hard to believe they made it non-backlit?!?! Oh, well ... there is no way I am going back to a big keyboard; got to take what I can get.

This looks like a great keyboard for the Nintendo switch hack. The reswitch hack can put Linux on the switch and this would be great for using it without the onscreen keyboard.

A portable version of the Blackberry keyboard. Awesome. Too bad it isn't backlit. I had to give up on the Logitech in the livingroom because it alway seemed to be knocked off the table onto the floor. I'm using a Rii keyboard for now but I find the trackpad too small. I'll definiately be keeping an eye out for a backlit version.

@Lon.TV do you know where this can be purchased nowadays? Did they ever make a backlit version?

It's nice. I also wish it had backlighting. $60 is too much. I bought my Logitech K830 for $42 and my bluetooth Rii i8+ BT for $25 on amazon. I don't use the K830 that often because of it's size but its bluetooth connectivity is more reliable than the Rii 8+ and the ipazzport both which spaz out frequently

Thanks for the review though this product isnt exactly new anymore but hadnt had a need to look for something like this til now. I had the older lenovo handheld backlit keyboard and liked it very much kimda disappointed that it isnt backlit like previous version had.
Edit: i went looking to see if any new or used were on ebay or amazon and there was zero of this keyboard on those sites.

I'd like to see nordic layout, backlight keys and some haptic feedback. Hey Lon I haven't actually browsed your videos through, but have you tried Steam controller as something similar to this? To my knowledge it should be fairly usable in desktop and tempted to order one and try. Also one thing I don't understand with this keyboard. Why on earth didn't they also make this usable as gyro mouse. I mean Logitech did in my opinion pretty ground braking device ages ago that has been discontinued. That would be their free space mouse, which has volume control, program switching, cradle loading etc. I'm 100% sure that none of the staff that made it happen aren't working there anymore as innovation seems to be long gone, which is very unfortunate.

Neat product, maybe a little bit overpriced. Backlight would be cool, but I could manage without one. But I think the physical mouse buttons should've been shoulder buttons so you can use them without changing grip and you could e.g. hold right click and navigate with just one hand. Somehow nobody thinks about this with these keyboards. The Logitech K830 has one shoulder button for the left click but not for the right click and I really don't understand why they left that out, it would be a obvious improvement in comfort in my opinion.

I still can't find a better keyboard for my HTPC than the Logitech K810. It has a nice look and feel (not cheap and plastic-y), it charges via usb--- and the charge lasts me for weeks. Best of all it has a proximity sensor for the backlight so when you reach for the keyboard the backlight turns on and a few seconds after you're finished using it the backlight turns off. If they make a newer revision, I'd like to see an integrated trackpad, usb-c (just for the sake of standardizing on a more modern interface), and connectivity other than bluetooth. I wouldn't mind using the usual Logitech wireless dongle just so I could use it more conveniently if I'm working on the computer and I haven't booted into Windows.

Wow, this is a great little keyboard. I'm looking for something like this for my Mecool M8S Pro L, but really just for when I need to web browse or log into something. This may be a good option. I'm also looking at the Logitech K400 Plus. It's $40 ($26 on sale at Best Buy), but considerable bigger than this Lenovo. Lon, who would you compare these two keyboards? Thanks for your insights.

It always amazes when companies spend time and money to bodge together a device like this and fail to address basic roadblocks to usability, tap to click, back lighting and user ergonomics. Lenovo is like the airline pilot who announces he will attempt one of his 89% successful landings,Yikes! no thanks.
