- Assembling the second pack of parts for the Fanhome 1966 Batmobile Diecast partwork model. Finishing the frame rails and most of the rear axle. George Barris really made a cool hero car out of the Lincoln Futura concept car and I am sure Adam West and Burt Ward would have gotten a kick out of seeing this go together. Thanks for watching!
Used to love ❤️ that show when I was 6.😅
I watched it alot when I was a kid!
Great build and vid 🙏👍💪🍺💞🐕
Thank you!
I am all ready for the next shipment
I'm really enjoying this build so far.
Thanks Rocket, some of us were eating lunch. :)
Rocket is the best!
I still say that's going to be almost as big as the Ecto. Looks great Ian!
Yeah, gonna be almost as long as Ecto for sure.
You started with your rear end obsession explanation while I was typing the 1st remark, so I hit post anyway. 😁
LOL no worries bud!
Ok I know you have a obsession with rear end's, lol, ie...NTD DB5. Know that all leaf spring systems are designed with longer end to rear, because of the front pivot point is always solid and rear floats
I am a bit obsessed with rears...LOL and yes you are correct, I do gloss over the hanger and shackle setup a bit.
According to the animated series, an entity known only as "the mechanic" built the Batmobiles. In real life, Barris neither designed nor built the car. The designs actually came from Eddie Graves. Production designer at Greenway. The car was built, by competitor and ex-employee, Bill Cushenberry. He did all the metal work, the prop house finished it off.
WOW now I need to go down another google rabbit hole to look that up, thank you!
Will you be adding fanhome power ranger megazord to your lineup in October
I am not sure, I used to watch them when I was young, and honestly the idea is growing on me a bit.
