Hey Ian, where are you? Everything OK? We miss you
@radiobez hey there sorry was in Mexico last Thursday through Sunday and work has been insane this week, I have some very exciting projects coming soon and will be on the Friday HTM live stream as well
i would LOVE a ute!!!
When I have enough F-U money I will import one to the USA
got my mits on a 1/200 scale yamato STL. printing the thing!
AWESOME!!!
Thanks to you I could fix mine!! Same problem. I reduced the knurling a little to reduce the tension in the gear. Worked perfectly!! Thanks a lot man!!
AWESOME, Glad the video was helpful.
😀😀😀😀
Great video Ian! Man, that tire really kicked your butt!
Yeah that sucker was tough!
How many Xanax did that Turbine build require 😂
None extra, just a few beers.
Can’t wait to see you mod this build up theway it should be BOB
Last of the V8 Interceptors for sure!
Colonial Marines
Hoo-RAH!!
At least I weaned you off "puckup" in regard to Australian vehicles.
@@whya2ndaccount I've loved Utes for many years.
I’d love it if in your next hind or pack 3 of the Apache you show the comparison between this and the hind as you build these 2 amazing helicopters
I will do that for sure, so far they look pretty close in scale but I will compare the cockpits in the next video of the Hind.
I ordered this in September and have not heard one thing about it other than the original confermation email
They have started shipping, if you did not get an email you should contact customer service with your order number.
For the rockets and hellfires, it's easier to do them as they come. Just use a lot of Microsol, takes a few minutes. Do a master one in each pack so you can have the green band the right distance from the warhead. Also the T-700 engine has a nasty seam, I will use solder wire to cover that as fuel tubing.
I have something special planned for the Hellfires, and I really prefer to paint in a batch so I stay in a groove.
Lost a part? Its OVER THERE!
It's a small miracle nothing went missing.
Great build and vid 💞🙏🐕👍💪🍺
Thanks Eddy!
😄😄😄
Bought some screwdrivers from Amazon hope you get your few cents as I'm in the UK
@malcolmt3274 thanks bud! Even if it doesn't I appreciate it.
12 or 13.5 volts ?
9.6v
How many volts is the battery
9.6v
Thank you for the comprehensive video of the museum. The museum is spectacular.
Glad you enjoyed it Robert, I am very sorry in all my excitement I forgot to walk through the WWI trench combat room, but that is an excellent exhibit as well in there.
Oh dear me! The tail looks twisted- it isn't aligned with the rest of the fuselage. No crew figures is a very poor show too......
Wow I didn't notice but upon closer inspection the left side of the tail is a bit dropped down compared to the right.....bugger, guess I will email HCG and see what they say.
Great build and vid 👍🙏🍺💪💞
Thanks Eddy!
I've put mine on a couple 3d printed axel stands, need to sort my video for this, chose to do the Skyline instead
That is a great idea, and the Skyline is a very cool build!
Test post.
It worked sir!
I'm currently at a standstill, thanks to Fanhome skipping Shipment #5. I got 6 & 7, but without 5 (mainly the front chassis), I can't really do much.
I'm so sorry for that, similar thing happened just happened with my Ecto-1 as pack 27 was out but pack 28 shipped. It will come and I think I heard that stock is expected next month for a bunch of the models.
@@PitstainHobbies That's reassuring. Looks like I'm looking forward to a building binge around Christmas.
@@CaptRobertApril yeah the shipping all over the world is a mess these days, my new Uniformation resin printer that should have been here a month ago now is shipping in early december.
Cool
Thank you!
You should have bot a 3d printer
I have one on the way and will print, build, light and paint my own some time next year probably.
3 out of 10 not good
it's not for everyone.
That's looking great Ian
Thanks Donnie, I am really enjoying it.
Looks great, I like the Ianizing of the head 😂 So how does one go about getting the Ghoststain pin 🤔
The new Ghoststain pins are in production now and a batch of 50 should be here next week. then there will be stickers of course later.
No knuckle marks in the wall of the Heads?
I wouldn't fit in the head to begin with...
I’m wondering if you got pack 2 for this yet and if you plan on posting your build video for it soon? I’m going to be getting mine on Saturday and posting my build video on that same day
Yes I did get pack 2 and will be doing the video by the end of the week.
Thanks for the tour. I believe the camo you called was Berlin camo.
Glad you enjoyed, and that makes sense with the white in there.
I want one
There are always some listed on eBay, if you keep your eyes on it daily sometimes a very good deal will pop up.
IM one of the lucky ones to continue the ecto-1. i'm on stage 10, i really don't know what happened during the Summer
You are lucky, and the delays are a ripple effect of mostly shipping issues and having so many new and returning subscribers.
Good review. Just ordered for the bigger kits.
Thank you, and you should be very please with the unit, makes painting larger models much quicker.
@PitstainHobbies been using it over the weekend and very happy with it. For anything 1/48 or larger it's all you would need - until I start looking at the fan cap model...
Type 59, famous for the stand off against tank man during the Tianamin Square massacre in 1989. The tanks lost.
Ahh I forgot about that entirely, it was very cool to see the tank.
Danke!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed.
Far too much plastic.
@rheinlandpaule4730 not sure if you ha e watched all of the build but there is alot of metal in this model.
This new haslab Plasma series ectomobile is definitely giving it a run for its money
@@kylewatts9187 indeed, what they have shown so far looks fantastic
@@PitstainHobbies do you think you're getting your money's worth for what they're asking?
@@kylewatts9187 I backed the special edition as I love Ecto-1A and with all the extras I feel it is more than worth the price. The figures along would retail for about $150 so that makes the Ecto-1 more like $250, this is just how I feel, I know others are complaining about the price.
I wish my Agora DB5 doors closed like those hot wheels cars
I have some ideas I am going to try on the DB5 doors to tighten them up a bit.
I mean they close lovely and align the body really good but floppy when open and have to lift them to close into position
@leslieyeo9720 yes they do shut perfectly aligned but there is a bit of wiggle when open I want to reduce a bit.
Would love to see this museum in person, probably the only reason I want to go to England. Otherwise I do want to see the Australian Armour and Artillery Museum.
This was the primary reason I went to the UK but don't tell my wife that....LOL
The APC did not fit because on screen it was not in scale with the drop ship. The APC was a dressed up airport tug, probably a TLD TMX-550 that is only about 5 ft (1.5m) tall. With camera trickery they made is appear bigger than it really was when the actors were near it, but that made for a problem when the dropship and APC are in the same scenes. If you really scrutinize the APC departing the ramp it is small, very small. Far too small for the interior volume portrayed because if you really hollowed out that tug the floor to ceiling height would have had them all scooting around on their butts and still almost hitting their heads on the roof. Had they correctly scaled the two vehicles in this model the APC would have had to have been about 50% smaller, and would then appear undersized and under scale for how the two vehicles portrayed individually on screen. Basically it changes size depending on the scene, larger when actors were around it and smaller when its around the APC. That is why the model had to compromise on the relative scales of the two vehicles to the point that the APC does not fit in the hold.
That is a fantastic explanation, I was aware of the use of the airport tug, but it makes perfect sense they scaled it up of down to suit the scene being filmed.
Great video. Really enjoyed one of the great collections. Your enthusiasm shines through. Definitely a must see for tank enthusiasts like me. As you would say very "cool". Did you buy any souvenirs? Many thanks
@steveg3981 thanks Steve, it was an amazing experience, and I did buy some souvenirs including a cool scorpion t shirt
Oh so not the Mattel type Hot Wheels (small cars on tracks doing loops, etc.) obviously. Hoping your 1:1 Proton pack is doing OK?
these are from Mattel as part of their now defunct Hotwheels Elite product line. Pack is working perfect now, thank you!
I meant 12 year old, not sure why my brain added a decade to their age.....sorry!
Is it worth using clear glue throughout the model, instead of using CA and some clear for glass parts? Is there any difference on how they glue? I know how they both differ, but, to me it's worth using clear all the way?
CA glue is preferred in some places for both it's bonding speed and adhesion, regular Tamiya thin cement will work on unpainted plastic to plastic connections, and PVA glue can be used on clear parts as it is water based and dries clear. Never use CA glue near clear parts as it can permanently cloud them.
I was there today. I came upon it by accident couldn't believe it. Nice show room and really welcoming to everyone. A neighbour of mine had a silver Esprit in the 80's and it was a head turner. One thing though on seeing the car in the real world is you realise the wheels could never fold up into the body nor could the submarine parts be stored within it. So it kinda spoils the illusion. But still its a cracking design. If lotus plays it right 2027 will be the year for this s1 car as it'll be the 50th anniversary of the Spy Who Loved Me. We've been saturated with DB5 over the years time for some love for the Lotus.
Agreed, the Lotus showroom was very cool and the staff were very welcoming, it would make sense for Lotus to partner with EON to do something cool for the 50th of TSWLM.
Agora should be putting this out, with operating features, lights, sound effects, etc. Their A6M zero costs as much and is 100X more detailed.
It would make an amazing partwork model for sure.
I bet I will
