easy way to refill is just plug this long clear pipe to container refilling connector with green colour and lift bottle higher.we dont have to remove container out because when i tried before this way its hard yo put back container it place.

Im assuming thos of the car telling me it cant regen because of low/no fluid? Car can be sluggish but was thinkin that be egr. No limp mode. Slight lag on low rev throttle response but if you give it the welly its fine. Just a lil info be great thank you.

No this is not the adblue system, If you was to leave it and not refill the tank you will get a warning message on the dash but the main problem would be that the dpf would not be able to regenerate correctly and will result in a blocked dpf which would my more costly to fix and will need either replacing or flushing through by a professional. It cost around £30 for the pat fluid kit and luckily i have my own scan tool to reset the the ecu, if you dont have scan tool it would still be cheaper for you to fill the tank yourself then take it to a local garage for the to reset the fluid level. I could not say whether it would be a tank or pouch, your best bet is to ring main dealer and ask for a quote for the fluid and they should be able to tell you whether its a tank or pouch and again if its a tank i dont know the amount of fluid you would need if its the tank as it may be a larger or smaller sized tank again though if you ring main dealer they should be able to tell you what you need and how much you need. I hope this helps.

If he uses the live data he can see how full the tank is, and if after checking and needs refilling it should be done the same as i have shown unless when the mechanic read the stored fault codes and was a faulty pump then obviously this would have to be replaced before any other work is carried out. it means the car cannot do a regeneration of the dpf, i drove it around for a few days whilst the fluid arrived and it was fine after you have replaced the fluid take the car for a drive down the motorway or do a force regen to clean the dpf.

Hi if I can remember there is a center lug it slides into but it is a real pain to get back on if you get a torch you can just see when you have the tank in place were the locating lugs are I hope this helps but this was worse part of doing this job so simple to do but you just have to have it on the right angle so it slides I to place.
@@bestofbest007 I had the same problem getting it back on. In the end i had to remove the fuel tank bolt on that side, slacken off the 2 bolts on the tank strap to the ends of the threads. That allowed me to lower the fuel tank enough to allow me to slip on the additive tank.
@@richmc8209 cheers mate, I was thinking that but your comment confirmed my suspicion. I also checked the Delphi diagnostic tablet I have access to after the job, which said the same. I have done the job now.
I only put one bottle in and reset the level so just 1ltr i cannot tell you if this is the maximum amount the tank could hold, if you want to make sure the tank is at maximum buy two bottles and fill the tank until no more can be added then at least you know the resetting of the tank counter will match when you get the warning message again in the future to top up. Hope this helps.
I have the x431 and have just filled the dpf fluid, I need to reset fluid counter,I have a 2009 Peugeot 407,I don't see that multiplex option under special functions?? Found it!!Might help others,it's under ecu then look through there for 'pack reparations',click that then there,s the option for the fluid reservoir!! There's a warning comes up saying only to carry out this operation if you've replaced particulate filter(PEF) but just bash on and do it anyway,it just tells you to switch ignition off then on and you're done!:-)

If I remember right you can refill on the car just unclip the fill adapter and run a long hose to refill make sure the fluid bottle is higher than the tank I used the launch x431 Pro to reset the fluid indicator also you will find that the dpf warning light will come on but not that long after but as long as you check the differential pressure sensor and they are in the normal pressure just tell the car that a new dpf has been fitted this basically resets to countdown timer again the launch can reset this. I did have the autel mk808b before this launch and its simple layout was better but this launch can do more stuff and with it been a tablet you can use it for other stuff such as Internet etc as its got a speaker the autel has no speaker so when you have a fault code you can put it in RUclips and watch some videos
I used 1ltr PAT fluid i assume this is all the same across all 3008 models with this type of dpf system (tank system) you can get them were the fluid is in a pouch and you have to replace the pouch itself hope this helps

Thank you for the instructions on how to do it. But there was absolutely no need to put the entire suspension down. It can be done without it.
You can fill tank without removing it. Just use hose extension and contect bottle to tank line, stand next to the car to gravity feed it in.
Exactly as you write. It is not necessary to take down the entire tank. Because there is good access to the additional filling hose from the front.

No this is not the adblue system, If you was to leave it and not refill the tank you will get a warning message on the dash but the main problem would be that the dpf would not be able to regenerate correctly and will result in a blocked dpf which would my more costly to fix and will need either replacing or flushing through by a professional. I would think its max capacity i filled mine with 1ltr of fluid told the ecu the amount and all was sorted hope this helps 👍
