I did judge it. Based entirely on Schumer. I've never found her funny in anything. I watched this trailer, and said fuck, I kinda want to watch it. I'm hoping it's going to be absolute crap. But I have a feeling it isn't going to be 😆😭

I tried to watch this movie more than 5 times...i barely finished till the hader takes amy to a restaurant scene...it's a typical teenage wanabe movie with a bunch of snl casts and famous cameos...which i didnt understand...i ain't an american.....but the most absurd thing was that the movie made amy look like a national crush or somethin.....which is too much for me to take...the only thing good were john cena, bill hader , captain marvel and some other actors...except for the lead amy...which ruins everything....i never fell into pere pressure except when it was related to my academics... But whenever someone recommended me tv movies or shows like: friends, riverdale, flash,big bang theory show....i mever fell for those syggestioms...as a person, who while growing up watched avatar airbender, deathnote, drake and josh,the office, rick amd morty, bojackhorseman, get out, mr robot,opm,gravity falls,harry potter,spiderman trilogy, mib, drunken master, shadow of the eagle eye,rush hour,extraction(netflix), transporter, and most of tarentino's movies....when i compared between these...it's not worth for me to watch... For me if not the best but one of the best comedic romantic movie would be catch me if you can...

The plot is typical, some bachelor is fine with living the playboy lifestyle and all of his friends are telling him it's time to settle down. Then a manic pixie dream girl rolls around and he learns to love. It's nice to see a female lead in place of that. It truly kicks ass. However, the comments are sickening. I was balls out bored the other day so I watched this movie and I must say I got a few good belly laughs from it. The best part of the movie for me where the Pro Athletes who featured in it. LeBron James is just adorable, John Cena is hilarious and Amar’e Stoudemire was excellent! I hope to see more of those guys in more movies in the future.

bill hader made this movie watchable. i tried giving any schumer a chance but she is just annoying.. there were some parts where she was almost normal, but honestly if it wasn't for hader, this would've been the worst movie ever..

A day(!) later this movie is on tv and now i look up the trailer and they use a Lady Sovereign song haha And the same thing had happened to me just two months ago with another song (Baracuda) and another movie trailer

Yeah I am tired of people claiming that women being able to sleep around is feminism. There is nothing in a woman's self interest for sleeping around UNLESS she was sexually abused in some sort of way in the past and this is a means of acting out- either way it puts women in a vulnerable and dangerous situations. Not to mention, doesn't meet emotional needs of women, which is biology because attachment to sexual partners is hormonal, and we can pretend those hormones aren't real and don't affect us but they do. I just watched this movie and loved it. I’m black and when Amy showed a pic of her black friend aka the waiter I died.
Amy is very funny in this. Also, the Dave Attell cameo is great.
If this were focused on a guy-version of the female character, all the men in the comments would be saying "hahaha whoaaaaa this guy's hilarious." Also, if you really think this movie won't have more depth than just her sleeping around and then someone magically falling in love with her, you're not noticing that this trailer is clearly all a set-up for what the movie's main plot will be. Also, yeah, it IS sexist to focus on how "fat and not pretty" she is and complain about how someone could never want to marry her or fall in love with her if she slept around. Like that's all a woman is worth? It's dependent upon whether or not a man would marry her? Again, if it were a dude, no one would bat an eyelid and most of these things people are taking issue with would be non-issues.

Whaaaat, i just rediscovered Lady Sovereign again after not having heard her songs for several years. A day(!) later this movie is on tv and now i look up the trailer and they use a Lady Sovereign song haha

No it wouldnt. This is a romantic comedy. Comedy...and there is like no other atress that is more hilarious than Amy. And by the way, this movie wouldnt exist without Amy, because she wrote the screenplay and she was the one who casted Bill. So stop judging.

moment, when I searched for this trailer only to say that I love song from the beginning, because it brings old times, when I was listening to Lady Sovereign, because I loved her accent and some songs (like this one, "9 to 5").
So yeah, Amy Schumer is saying that being a women with unstable feelings that choses unstable men that she know will never commit is the thing now. Is so sad because i have a couple of friends like her and you can see that deep down inside they are really sad and lonely but cover this up with being successful and materialistic.

Fightorflight31 i don't at all. But there is a difference. When i broke up with my ex i swear i wanted to be alone. I dated nobody, didn't have sex with anybody and i was super happy to be alone. Then it comes this type of "loneliness" of girls that date a lot and hook up a lot. They are not really lonely and are not happy to be lonely, they pretend they do, but they don't because they are constantly looking for guys.

I don't know any respectable people who would behave like that or associate with a person like her. The only people I know who live so loosely like that are people on the lowest rung of society, with no jobs, lots of drugs paid for with stolen goods, and so many STDs, it is impossible for them to have any more children than the first few they neglect and let run the streets by age 4. Seriously, no decent man who desires a lifelong relationship is ever going to want a woman who has an ongoing history like that. And to think, she doesn't even get paid for it more than dinner and a few movies. How cheaply can you sell the most intimate part of yourself, hmm? Apparently, this cheaply.

Yeah I am tired of people claiming that women being able to sleep around is feminism. There is nothing in a woman's self interest for sleeping around UNLESS she was sexually abused in some sort of way in the past and this is a means of acting out- either way it puts women in a vulnerable and dangerous situations. Not to mention, doesn't meet emotional needs of women, which is biology because attachment to sexual partners is hormonal, and we can pretend those hormones aren't real and don't affect us but they do. We shouldn't be lowering ourselves to men's level... we should be demanding they raise to ours. That being said, as long as I take this as a work of fiction, it looks pretty dang funny.

I *loved* this. LMAO, almost peed my pants laughing (TMI?). As did most of the other women in the audience, yesterday. Is it perfect? No; IMO, it could have been edited down a good 10-15 minutes and been even better. Will some (insecure) men feel butthurt and offended? Probably. Is it the right movie for women/men offended by the idea of recreational sex and excessive drinking/pot use? Oh, hell, er. heck, no! *I* loved it. IMO, the John Cena "Talk Dirty to Me" scene alone is worth the price of admission.
