The first movie / book was perfect the way it was and should have ended there. I've purposely not watched any of the sequels as for me, it ended where it should have.

I have mixed feelings, I don't think we needed a new part after the last one, where everything finally ended well. It was especially hard to find out about Mr. Darcy's death, Bridget doesn't deserve such grief and it's a shame to see how they make it look like the main character doesn't care about her husband's death at all. And then there's the fact that in the last film there was a character played by Patrick Dempsey, who was supposedly the son's godfather, but we see Hugh Grant again.
I can't wait to see Bridget Jones 4, l had reservations about it, but the trailer looks amazing for the last one, l love Bridget Jones and Renèe Zellweger plays the character to perfection🥰

I've read two of the Bridget Jones books, and saw the first Bridget Jones movie well over 100 times. I'm curious to see how she is portrayed as an older woman with kids!

Hmmmmm…not sure how I feel about this. I didn’t even know there was a third movie! The first one was cute when I was a twenty something (I think), but this seems ill advised. Of course, I’m sure it will play well with the Hallmark channel crowd. Good for Renee - after she made the Liza(?) thing, she put herself out there again. 👍
The third one was kinda immature that they all looked so much older and she doesnt know who her baby daddy is...but still a good movie. Would have been better if she had been younger with a story line like that. This one... l'l watch cause it's probably light hearted but l miss Darcy already.
