Will you guys address page 150 in the online appendix???? And why it was left out of the paper????? The total effect size is well below any clinically meaningful benefit

They literally have an entire discussion on the effect size here and point out that it is significant and actually comparable to medications used in other fields of medicine.

As a member of the online prescribed dependent and harmed community I listened with interest to the discussion by leading academics, all white and male. I was struck by the contrast between the detached discussion of clinical trial data, complex graphs, the differences between statistical and clinical significance, numbers needed to treat and so on so forth and the raw emotions in the online forums as many thousands of patients, a majority of them women, struggle to free themselves from the shackles of these same drugs which have destroyed so many of our lives. Perhaps this demonstrates the immense problems that are evident now, as damaged patients battle to be heard via every media channel possible. No mention was made during this discussion of the prescribed dependent and harmed community, the focus was entirely on the initial stages of prescribing and the need for better treatments for depression. Is it simply the case that the gulf between our community and those with highly paid professional careers is too massive to be bridged?

Harmed community? What is so awful about antidepressants?

@@sandizz The many adverse effects of antidepressants such as akathisia, sexual dysfunction, severe withdrawals, most harmed patients weren't properly warned of the potential for serious harm .
