      Hi, Vlad. I’m brand new to this hobby. I know nothing. But through a strange set of circumstances, I find myself with two unopened boxes. I have the 3 Max Neo, and the 3 S1. If you were me, which one of these would you keep? Does anyone have an opinion? Thanks!

    thanks for the video. I had a lot of trouble getting the filament to stick to the metal plate, compared to the glass, even after multiple leveling and auto-leveling. I finally solved it by lowering the z-offset some more. It went from -.86 to -1.62 and that seems to have solved the problem.

    I leave the back ones on for the bed clips as it makes it a nice backstop for placing the sheet on the bed

    Your ender 3 max neo videos are one of a kind! I’m a noob and I got this beast so far prints having been coming out ok. Just been having tiny retraction problems it seems also build plate glass is making them stick too good. Also looking at nozzle upgrade from a stock nozzle.

    Hi,I have my Neo Max for about 3 months now,I never use a 3d printer before at all,and I mus say I print right from the box using the manual instructions with no problems.The spool holder I used for 3-4 print only after I bought the drier box and I never used again.Today I expect to arrive the magnetic bed from Creality,lets see how this works.I have the direct extruder from Creality which I haven't fited yet,probably I will do today after my magnetic bed turs up.My only complain is the printing speed,I like to make it faster and I can't find anything how and what I need for that.I have to mencion for bed levelind there is a nice braket for precision gauge witch helps you level the bed at 0.00-0.01,and let me tell you that make big difference. I try the marlin firmware once and didn't work very wel for me(I'm noob,I have no knowledge on 3d whatsoever)I my try again because I really like the look of it and the millions of seting give you.If anyone know what I can do to make it print faster I really appreciate.At this point my printer is 100% stock,from today I will upgrade the bed and probably the extruder,and I hope soon the firmware (Marlin).Overall the printer is good for new people in the 3d world

    Really late to the review but I appreciated this video. I needed something bigger than my Bambu and this is definitely an option.

    the build plate looks like it is the same size as my CR 10 V2, its 310 x 312, that's why the 310x310 didn't fit, the bed isn't square but a rectangle. Glad it worked though, and I think the square plates are cheaper, I might go with the same one as they are cheaper.

    • @Frostbytedigital
      @Frostbytedigital 2 года назад

      Personally I went with 310x310 as well because the price was significantly better(mine isnt double sided however). I knew it was going to be slightly off but it obviously works fine like his. It has been a huge benefit.

    Just got one of these the other day and got set up today with the help of your vids. My first 3D printer, so I don't really know what I'm doing, but I think I got the thing levelled right (after 3 go-rounds). My first two prints didn't stick at all to the glass. I took off the glass, cleaned it with soap and water, and then ran a 3rd print with the nozzle temp at 205, the bed at 75 and the printing speed dialed back to 70% - the boat came out beautifully. tried two more prints after, and they all released off glass. Should I look to change out the bed ? Do I need to clean the glass and re-level it in between each print ?

      You should try tweaking your settings. If all else fails just use more supports

    • @jcvalenti
      @jcvalenti Год назад +3

      @@danielwilliams7207 Thanks for the reply After I posted this I did change out to a PEI Plate and levelled the access support as suggested by the video. Relevelled the bed and made it just a bit closer to the extruder. That seemed to do the trick, as I've done about 10 prints since, swapping out filament a few times, and haven't had an issue since. Still learning my way but the thing seems pretty good - really like the output.

    So, I'm trying to decide here. Should I get this printer and upgrade to the sprite extruder? Or just buy the Ender 3 s1 plus? I am trying to keep in my budget, but the s1 plus is getting me closer to the Bambu p1p..... ugh.... gimme some advice! :) thanks.

    • @cubing4eternity774
      @cubing4eternity774 Год назад +1

      The same dilema dude. From an upgradeability perspective neo would make sense as you can just upgrade to the sprite pro. The S1 has the non pro version of sprite which is so frustrating. But the S1 plus has better out of the box performance, which would be great for a beginner like me. But upgrading the hotend on that will be more money and also there doesn't seem to be any firmware upgrades yet to get pay the 260° hear limit.

  • @fffriedmannn

    Just get the plate for the model you have. I have the Max Neo and upgraded to the correct plate, it matched perfectly and the release works as advertised. Also, read bed temp with a handheld and it did not see much difference in preset to actual with the magnetic pad in place.

    • @DarkestBunny
      @DarkestBunny 2 года назад

      How do i get the plate for the correct model? Apparently there is nothing advertised as a "max neo compatible" magnetic sheet. I can only think it's because the max neo is "new". After watching this video I'm not sure i should trust the advertised sizes unless they specifically say they are compatible with it, and i don't even know if the actual bed size is 300mm. Would you happen to have a link or something?

    I've yet to have any success with this printer due to poor adhesion...I've tried everything that the internet (glue, level, z offsets, etc) suggests except for the bed upgrade. I feel like I'm missing something...before I buy the upgrade are their any suggestions?

    Just got this printer for Xmas and LOVE it. But, the filament tube and cable that connect to the printer head get caught in-between the x-axis as it returns home. How do I best readjust the cabling to ensure that it doesn't get caught in the rollers? Thank you so much!

    E3MN owner here got it as my first printer a couple days after your setup video. Are you thinking about a fanshroud change? The heatsink on this unit is absolutely massive and have yet to find one that fits so I'm remixing my own. I currently have it rigged fairly wildly, I just can't deal with how obstructed the nozzle is with the stock shroud
    Edit.. I just went to a creality sprite pro to get an all-metal hotend and drop in support of crtouch/direct drive
