Great idea videos on past hacks and malware, really fun also the way you lead us through the story! but 3 min of ads? also a part of your audience are cybersec experts so really makes you lose credibility when you oversell a vpn. Your traffic is already encrypted by TLS on most websites and while your ISP cant see what websites you visit, your VPN provider will, so not much difference. IF you are logged in google or other sites, they also will be able to track your movement regardless of VPN. We all know this stuff so just something to keep in mind :)

How were the companies (that experienced losses from those teenagers actions) made whole????

Love these types of stories. Hopefully these hackers learn their lesson but usually they repeat their mistakes. If the FBI has no more use of u, jail time. There been countless stories like this. Do the eternal blue and wannacry stories.

This is not the main reason for a vpn but I get the sponsor plug. With that said not many vpn providers are that safe anymore either with several getting caught still siphoning your data and info, which is the main reason for a vpn. Hell if it’s ip hiding u may just be better of showing ur audience how to safely access the dark web.

Definitely just one of the ways to help but VPN isn’t 100% foolproof, appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this!🙌

Yeah, I mean, it's an illicit business model where you create a problem and present yourself as the solution provider. I've seen this before but in law enforcement whereby a group of people are the thieves and another one security. Obviously, you don't want any link between the perpetrators and yourself so you have to be smart to do it without being caught by the authorities. I lived in a country where everyone suspected that but you had no alternative than to pay for the good guys services. ( Disclosure: I have no evidence of this, but it's one of those unspoken cases where everyone suspects.)
