This man predicted the future
😊
it's almost as if
I thought of another question.. if one feels concerned about a data or device breach.. it would be helpful to know a plan of action to help a digital forensic specialist locate “scrubs,” “possible rewrites,” timestamps, etc. I understand that most novice tech users are not necessarily at risk of a breach or a sophisticated cordinated network attack.. but hypothetically speaking, it would be helpful to learn of some key code error messages or network data packet floods that may help a user identify and record a log for a data forensic in the most helpful way. Using compute for intellectual property is one of many examples where the digital footprint would be helpful evidence for discovery in legal issues. Thanks!
Prediction: issues with cloud services… too many to address here. Thank you for the information.. I’ve been looking for more content from IBM.. gratitude.
No doubt that cloud services are another attack surface ripe for issues. Glad you liked the video!
Great video, concise with a summary of 2023 cybersecurity results (from X force report) and the main recommendations to prevent being a victim. Please keep doing this kind of content!!!
Thanks for the encouragement! More to come!
Does this gentle man have any courses on course era or any other online education platforms?
Video nicely done and insightful too! Thanks for the education!
Thanks for the encouraging feedback!
You are doing very importand job. Thank you for informative and concise video, solid like and recommendations
Thanks so much for saying so!
A thought came to mind about the good guy bad guy comment. Wouldn’t it be great if we could turn bad people into good ones. Need a great leader for running the pack. Great video as usual. Informative and very insightfully packaged. You nailed that on the ending. Proacativite > reactive.
Thanks so much for the great feedback! I’m really glad you liked it. Yes, that would really be great if we could turn bad ones into good ones. The fact of the matter is that if you look over the course of a career, in all but rare cases, it pays much better to be on the defense side rather than the attack side. Attackers tend not to have long careers and run the risk of jail time so the economics are skewed on the side of the defenders
I agreee
Very Valuable and informative video😀
thanks for saying so!
very good explaination
Thank you!
Nice
Another great video! ♥
Thanks!
The knowledge you shared is valuable and I appreciate you sharing with us.
Thanks so much for saying so!
Thank you for the great presentation! One thing to mention, what’s the point of spending thousands or millions of dollars on technologies such as MFA if the user blindly approve it? The biggest challenge still is the user. So we need to educate our users along with investing in technologies.
It's important to look at the problem broadly and recognize as you said these systems have human decision's at their core. If you saturate a user with authentication requests then they tend to pay less attention. Diminishing returns etc.
@@John-zz6fz I agree with both of you on this. The chain is only as strong as its weakest link and usually that link is the user. That said, we can do a lot to make the job of the user easier, to educate them, to make it more obvious what is right and what is wrong. Human factors must always be considered in security decisions
Any re-entry program on ibm x force incident response team ?
Not sure what you mean?
how does anyone get into x force?
Rule nr.1 - don't talk about x-force
This is a great video.
Thanks so much!
Cool video !
Glad you liked it!
Did they foresee the massive cyberattack less than 24hrs after they posted this video?
Yep, I noticed
I wish I could say our crystal ball was that good but, if it were, we’d just stop it from happening every time. The thing about cybersecurity, though, is that you are never far from the next big attack
which cyber attack are you referring to?
Today ATT has a total outage..... hmmmm
I promise I didn't do it! 🤣
😅
2024 is going to be a very interesting year, I'm surprised we don't hear about blockchains
It will be interesting, indeed. Always is when you’re in the cybersecurity space 😊
