Cable wise I take an XLR Female Stereo to Male RCA and also the Male version of the same. Also 4 RCA to 1/4" . Lots of options there as you can obviously connect the male and female XLR together to give you a combo of RCA and 1/4"
I have a portable battery from Halo that is a USB charger, AC, light (torch) and a car battery jumper. I've used it on several occasions. One time in Georgia, the bride (summer wedding) almost passed out because of the heat. I was able to rig up a portable fan to keep her cool. Another time, at a gig, a lady had left her lights on in her car and needed a boost. I was able to help her and it translated into getting a few gigs through her recommendation.
Thanks for sharing! I have a very similar unit about 6 feet from me as I write this charging up ready to go back into our vehicle for similar emergencies. I just jumpstarted in my car with it today.
I own the Magma Solid Blaze 120 as a producer bag and I love that bag. It fits both an MPC Live 2 and an MPK Miniplus keyboard controller. For DJ-ing I use a Magma Ctrl case for my Traktor S2 MK3 controller which is surprisingly handy for using my MPC Live 2 outside as well because it doubles as a sunscreen. Stuff I tend to forget are USB cables and my laptop power brick. Fairly obvious pieces but some way I'm always more in a hurry than I want to be.
Thanks for sharing, and I'm glad you're enjoying that bag. Yes, we think it's a great bag for DJs because of all the compartments. It's very well made as well, and it's quite discreet.
Funny you bring this topic up. JH just posted the other day saying how his set USB got corrupted and had to use another another USB. He said he was disappointed he couldn't play the tracks he was gonna debut but was thankful he had a backup.
Another great show, I have in my eyes upgraded from the Hercules 500 to the mixstream pro go. I remember you mentioned a stand so you could slightly tilt it is it the same one you had in this bag before I go ordering.
No, it isn't. It's just a very little fold-up stand for about $10 from Amazon. It's designed not to raise the laptop/controller but just to tilt it forward a little bit.
I forgot my wireless mics the first night I was going to incorporate karaoke into my mobile gigs. Everyone had to use my microphone! I have also forgotten my laptop charger before too.
Don't forget backup headphones at minimum. Seen a clip where a DJ had buds and they fell out as he went to fist bump a fan/friend, and he stepped on them. Not the end be end as these days you can get by without but why take that chance and put more pressure on yourself.

Thanks for the tip, the more/the more flexible, the better!
@digitaldjtips it's often used, if not buying me someone else is using it. Added bonus you only have to replace one section if there's a fault.
Yaaay, congratulations on the release of the audiobook! I will be listening to it soon 🥳
Thanks!

JH has been having a few issues recently for various reasons, but as you point out he's a pro, he carries a backup!
Timing of this video couldn’t be better with the Xmas parties coming up. Will definitely refer to this and the website! 👍
Hope you enjoy it!

I ALWAYS BRING my bag full of audio adapters. It contains everything from XLR adapters to lightning for Apple product connections.
Good thinking!
