Your videos were a big influence on me getting a 3D printer and have to say that I couldn't be happier! These things are AMAZING! Thank you for being awesome!
I’m in the hospital right now and binge watching your videos and I love them! I’m in Alaska but the Scandinavian rail bug has bitten me. I was wondering if someday you could make a video about the different Swedish and Norwegian locomotives rolling stock ect. Keep up the great work! Daniel in Alaska
Done a similar shed for my steam locs (2 side by side). Therefore I used some calendar cardboard, PLA windows & doors and some wood coffee stirrers. The rails were also recycled Jouef rails. For the animation I used 2 cheap servo made in China as well as an Arduino. The doors can be opened together or individually with some light (led) effects inside. A lot of fun for some minimal work.😊
Martin.....YOU'RE KILLING ME!! 😆 When a 3D printer shows up at my door, I'm telling my Wife "Honey...it's not my fault...Martin made me do it!!". Another great video Martin 👍. Thanks for all your efforts!
@@marklinofsweden I say exactly the same thing to my wife. Anything. Scalpel blades, Acrylic paint, telegraph poles, ballast, the lot. I also say that Martin made me do it. It has worked so far. 🤣😂🤣🤡🤡🤡
One more excellent tutorial, Martin! I've been planning to scratchbuild another enginehouse from styrene sheet. Even though your kit is resin printed, as usual you have provided some very helpful suggestions I can use, and your results are great. By the way, I like using that Vallejo Concrete color for weathering washes, especially when mixed in various ratios with Dark Sea Grey. Cheers from Wisconsin!

The other thing to watch with the Wish App was what they add to your cart. The servos cost about 7$ for 5 (good deal!) When I went to check out, my total was over $20!!! They added a Scooby Doo tee shirt as a gift to get free shipping! I didn't mind paying the $3 shipping. As much as I love Scooby Doo, I didn't need (or ask for) a tee shirt. I will let you know what I get when they show up later this April.
Hi Martin , Fantastic video! Could you perhaps in the future show how you solved the connection of the servo's with Rocrail?? I find the Rocrail Wiki not very helpfull mostly. Best regards. Hans
Ohh.. It’s easy since the servos are connected to a turnout decoder. Each door have an address exactly like i turnout. That means you can ’Add a button switch’ to the trackplan and assign the turnout address to it ’Interface-tab’ under properties for the button. Then also select ”Toggle” and you’re done!
Great idea! Just looked at it (no app needed at all, just via their regular site). Did I understand correctly that the SG90 there supposed to be 1 dollar each? These servos are listed at € 12.30 each at a minimum of 30 pieces... Still cheap but you have to buy 30 of them for that price. The shed itself is a fantastic idea.
@@marklinofsweden I see. Terribly sorry for the misunderstanding. We stand corrected. Price at € 12.30 comprises 30 pcs indeed. We haven't seen them at a minimum of 10 pcs though but I trust that you're most likely probably correct. We haven't had much time but we'll find it hopefully. Thanks !
Lucky for me I have three different airbrush models, 2 of which are Master Model airbrushes and the third being a pain to clean and put it back together will not be used at any point. As far as the servo goes, I could have built one with a small electric motor with a plastic tab on it along with a double-pole double-throw switch with the plastic triangle made from a scrap of plastic. I, strangely enough already have most of those parts.
Hi. In the openning video theres a composition of cement tank cars from Brazil (my country). I'd like to know if it's a video you pick from the internet or the cars are your property. Thank you
Hi! This set was easy to print. No special settings needed. Just the recommended default for resin/printer combination. Important though to let the printed parts dry over night before post-curing and after that priming. This to avoid scewing.
My Grandpa did it without servo he suspended a stop from where the servo is connected if you drive a locomotive into the shed you run into the stop and pull the doors closed
Helloooo... Please change back to the original theme... The hectic old one was just more "Martin-ish"... You wouldn't have bytt är bytt change their theme either, would you..?!
Wish is well known for screwing the odd order up but just because you order servos one time and they send serviettes doesn't mean they'll do it everytime. They'd soon go out of business if they did!
Why? It works perfect every time here. I have more than 10 successful orders. However, sometimes you get an extra customs import/tax bill and sometimes the lead-time is 3-5 weeks. But hey.. The prices.. I can live with that!
@@marklinofsweden Exactly! You might have to wait or pay a import tax but its worth it. I've had the same on Ebay. I had a wrong order from China. Sent the wrong dolls highchair for my daughter. Messaged the company and they said they no longer stock the right one, refunded me and said keep the order!Another time I had a camera battery the turned up after a few months which judging by the various postage marks had travelled around half of Europe!

Excellente idée à reprendre avec le servomoteur SG-90. Salutation PM.
Martin. You make everything look so easy... and we all know that isn't the case. But thanks anyway... Much appreciated. 👍
Really nice video, again! Thank you! Best tip: when printing 3d, primer first is essentiell! I missed that on my first print and my roof got skewed.

Great Video, Thanks for the visual and instructions.
Love the work you make.
Fabulous. Aliexpress also supply cheap servos and arduinos as a matter of interest. I am really impressed at how this turned out.

Very nice update I just designed and 3D printed my two stall engine house I like the idea of auto opening the doors thanks for sharing.
Looks really good Martin :)
INCRIBLE!!!!!!!! felicitaciones, es un gran trabajo.

Loved the episode, and what a building that’s truly amazing,
Definitely I'm automating the doors of a scratch built shed I built last year
New intro music! Nice. 👍

Can you make more cinematic videos of train running around the track. Maybe with a story with your amazing voice-over?
Hi! Thank you for the input! I’ll add it to the list of stuff to do!

Thank you! Okay.. The SG-90 servos is either $12 at 30pcs = 40 cent/ea, or 10pcs at $3,40 = $0,34/ea. Otherwise you’re looking in the wrong place.

Dijikeis is out of business now. What else do you suggest for the servo controls?
ESU has a almost identical servo decoder.
Good video

Wow! From Brazil?! I didn’t know that. I filmed the tank cars in the Italian section during my last visit to Miniature Wunderland, Hamburg, Germany.
When printing the shed, what did you find to be the best print settings?

Hallo Martin,
I am Leo and live in Holland.
Do you have a tutorial about airbrushing?
What brand of glue did you use?
It is very different from the cream that we sell.
My Grandpa did it without servo he suspended a stop from where the servo is connected if you drive a locomotive into the shed you run into the stop and pull the doors closed
would something like this work for 00 gauge aswell?
He says he made a video on how to build a foamboard wirecutter. I can't find it. Can someone help me out?
Härligt 🎉
Hi, what color number do you use for your bricks?
Gr Jan
Hi, can buy this complete finish from you?
No
New theme?
That controller is awesome. What's the brand of it? My NCE powercab looks like something from the actual stone age.
:D The controller is a Marklin Central Station. You can google it. It’s a great command station!
Hi, nice video. However Digikeijs has problems delivering. They don’t respond to phone or email. The shop is empty, I’ve been told.
👍👍👍
Great
