I've had my Blazer for almost two weeks now and I am very happy with it so far. Love the interior. Red and black just like the one in the video. The vehicle itself is very quiet and refined. Nimble and quick, it's great for navigating the freeways and the twisty backroads.
Test drove one, very comfortable, quiet and refined. I think GM fixed the few issues they've had. Infotainment is bright and very well laid out. I think I'll be leasing one soon.
Got my RS yesterday, the only thing I did not anticipate was the whining sound of the electric motor when car first start moving, apparently CA requires this noise to warn pedestrians.
It's present on every EV but you're not supposed to be able to hear it from inside. With the Blazer, you can clearly hear it from inside and it's loud.
@neilsonlee3334 mine is audible at 25mph and below. As far as the whine of the electrical motors, there is a setting for the motor noise to be louder or softer. Somewhere in the Drive Modes menus, I believe.
I had one of these on order for my wife……after nearly 2 years on the list, I canceled the order because of the numerous problems that the few owners had been reporting. When the stop sale was put into place by GM, we bailed. As much as I thought this Blazer EV was going to be a game changer for GM, I lost my faith in this project. GM has had a tough time with software glitches in the past few years.
Interesting perspective. You canceled your order because other people with earlier built models before yours were experiencing the common software glitch you’re likely to see with any brand new high tech mass produced product or machine. *gm* doesn’t get the same grace that you all give their competitors. Issuing a “stop sale” and hand raisers bailing makes absolutely ZERO sense. Stop sale means something has been brought to the manufacturer’s attention and they would like to address it before it becomes any additional customer’s issue. Your lack of logic in this situation speaks volumes. The reality is the Chevrolet Blazer EV _is_ a game changer for *gm* and the minuscule hiccups that it and the GMC Hummer EV experienced weren’t nearly significant enough to damper that. Mind you, the Cadillac Lyriq (Blazer’s rich sibling) is the segment’s best selling SUV after the Tesla which barely compares to it.
Physical climate controls are so important. Glad GM hasn't blindly followed the "Cram everything into a touchscreen to cut corners" trend The lack of smartphone mirroring is pretty daft though
The infotainment screen is basically a large smartphone, it would be like asking apple to integrate google services into their devices. They are now competitors.
Actually took the Equinox EV out for a test spin. And then bought one last week. Outstanding vehicle. Extremely quiet FWD version has plenty of power and range. Took a 400 mile road trip that was effortless and very enjoyable because the car is so quiet and handles very well. GM did a fantastic job.
The google based system is pretty fabulous actually. We used Google maps for everything from our cell phones before but now that it's integrated in with our Blazer EV, it makes it so much easier.
This will be the one to leave the Tesla fanboys and *gm* haters boggled. They won’t be able to figure out why this is so good in its first generation. I expect the Chevy Blazer EV to follow in the Cadillac Lyriq’s footsteps as the top seller in the segment very soon. Great job Chevrolet! Y’all are the first manufacturer that actually made me reconsider switching to a fully electric vehicle, and much sooner than I ever thought I would. I think that says a lot.

Chevy keeps forcing what THEY think people want. They reported their focus group concluded that people don't use their frunks, so the didn't engineer one. Now they've removed android auto and carplay for no good reason. The android infotainment can work seamlessly with CarPlay, so absolutely no reason to end it, other than greed. Chevy is forcing you to purchase their monthly data plan for basic navigation access. This will forever rub me the wrong way.
I test drove one and was shocked about the nav. I use either Android or CarPlay, and really would miss both. The Prologue is very appealing to me. It has both, and basically the Chevy, but with a Honda spin.
I’ve had my RS for about 2 months now and ya, I’m already trading it in. The Google head unit is unusable and full of bugs. It’s a bummer because it’s a great car in every other aspect.
I love the way they look, but they feel very cheap. I own a Bolt EUV and the materials and manufacturing feels so nice in my car, the Blazer really disappointed me. It felt very cheap and poorly thought out on the materials and interior design. The shifter and air vents felt like they would break very quickly. Bummer...

Why would it? The Enision EV will be based upon this.
I’m not a Chevrolet fan except for the corvette but who ever decided not to integrate smart phones with the vehicle needs to get the boot !!!!
Despite people keep saying CarPlay and Android are big features, I think owners of Tesla don’t really care about those.
Neither will most Chevy owners, this looks better though out than Tesla interiors and infotainment in my opinion as well.

Going with the Mach-e over the Blazer simply due to Ford offering the Apple car play.

50 grand starting
Lease deals are cheap, $1300 down $288 for LT, and $100 more for the RS.
