@Sam-shutt you are doing a grand job.ive been here since the start when the were only a few subscribers. The pair of you work bleddy hard,so I hope now you can start to earn some money from it.take care.
Thank you Sam I’m happy you sold some of your cows & don’t blame yourself about the passport it’s easy done I have to put everything in one bag because I’m for ever putting stuff somewhere safe & forget where the safe place was 😂😂 I’m looking for a SIM card atm because before I went on holiday I put it somewhere & came back nearly 3 months later & I can’t find it I know I put it up high on a door frame or curtain rail but it’s vanished so I’ve now ordered another one & I bet I find it now 😂
great video hope thats sorted the admin error, moneywise. great to see the handling process its a side a lot of others dont show, but its part of farming, they are big beasts so need a firm knowlegable hand.
Hi, first time I've watched your video. Cattle trade flying !! We farm in East Yorkshire, and many years ago had a Mike Shuttelworth came over in harvest to collect straw ( small bales) not sure if he's related to yourselves...?
My uncle by the sounds of it 😁👍 he's usually in wagon with orange hi-ab on the back if that's what there called. Thanks for watching hope you've enjoyed!
Yes usually are hear but some had to come in groups of 2or3 because they were wild. Amd still sold individually. The red ones were sold together as they were all similar size amd age. Appart from the 1 that was better than the rest so it was sold on its own first. Usually individually
@MartinRock-ex4hf depends on the seller what they want to do. Tend not to mix small with big or mixed breeds.. some do 1 at a time but if they are all similar sometime it's best at once can make more amd some buyers don't want to wait around and buys a big packet so he can go home .
How old were those cattle ???..... i thought they would have made a bit more. i've been selling 24 month old limousin x friesian steers at £1560 and £1500 and Hereford x friesian steers at £1410 just been fed on haylage and no grain or cake so they needed fattening a bit more
They were 7 -8 months old so I think they've done really well. Usually make that with no feed. BUT these had to have feed to hurry them up as we need the money at the moment!
Because one or 2 are wild. So if they came in by themselves they would be looking for a way out. If they come with 1 or 2 others there not as freaked out.
The black heifers did exceptionally well 🔥

They seem good weight for age.
Are you using synthetic fertilizers and grain feeding
Oh in Ireland there sold in groups or singles. Thanks for the information

@@MartinRock-ex4hf limmy cross they were. LimX cows lim bull
First time to see your video and really enjoyed it . What weight were the cattle?
Not sure we don't weigh them 🤔
@@Sam-shutt Are they weighed in the mart?
@theoracle8560 no they arnt ! Only cattle I've seen weighed is the cast ring .
Why don't the cattle enter the ring 1 at a time?
@MartinRock-ex4hf depends on the seller what they want to do. Tend not to mix small with big or mixed breeds.. some do 1 at a time but if they are all similar sometime it's best at once can make more amd some buyers don't want to wait around and buys a big packet so he can go home .
Why is the saw dust put on the back of the cattle ???
Lovely stock
To show people which one is selling out of them first ....
Why do you sell them individually?
They are all different, some bigger, some smaller, and some better than others. we feel they can make more sold individually.

that was really good money then for that age .......it's difficult to tell how big they are on screen@@Sam-shutt
If selling slingle why bring a bunch in together just subscribed
