    You need some concrete Lego blocks to scrape against and then you can move them with a strap and the tractor when you want to open the gap to move stock around.

      Thats a good idea! I'll have a chat with phil, it might be we can make a proper bunker for the muck to go in outside the shed

    Its was a fantastic day when the old family (Abi, Josh & Gus) meet the new family (Moo calves) and become the "Back My Place" family. In the long term Josh, a skid steer with a grapple would be great for cleaning out, but it all costs money, so as they say, slow and steady wins the race and you can adapt in time.

    Easier to sort cattle by having them stand on passage way and then turn the ones u want into the straw so they have less space to run around

    Great forking video! Looked like a great forking time. The couple that forks together............, etc etc etc. Nice to see y'all making it a family project. I wonder if Cockers can be trained to herd? I remember watching Dr. Phil mucking out that barn on one of his videos and thinking a skidsteer or something would make a better option than the tractor.

    Would a simple grab on top of the bucket working of the third hydraulic work? I sure a top section could be bought cheap enough and just weld on the pin points go the bucket. A old sh grab with the bottom section broke up might have all the pins, ram and pipes…, good luck in the new venture 👍

    A better idea for your scooping up surely would be to just push it all out the passageway and scoop up against the grass banking?
    You could put a concrete wall section at the end but it'd be sods law that as soon as you did that, you'd find a job that would be easier done without it being there?
    Really enjoying your vids on starting your own herd!

    • @BackMyPlace
      @BackMyPlace  7 месяцев назад +2

      I did think of that. I could push it out the end and then have something around the corner to push it against! I know what you mean, I’d instantly regret fixing a panel in place!
