That was a great video Dave interesting looking pressure washer. I like the Quick Change nozzles they looked like they'd be extremely convenient. I didn't really like the small canister however I guess I'm not a professional so that might work out. I'm looking to go electric this season so the timing was perfect. Hi Mate, love your videos. I was wondering, do you recommend any after market hoses for karchers? The stock one is very tough to manoeuvre around the car. Thanks
Hi Dave, Just been looking at their website and noticed about half their models are out of stock, spares are even worse - most are out of stock! What is going on???Anything potential or existing purchasers ned to be worried about?
Cheers mate. They have just updated the model, newer parts now and the return rate on these is non existent so I'm hopeful they will have a bright future
Ava is available Dave in Australia but it's super expensive and there's only three pressure washers available from the large range that Ava does. My Karcher blew a hose and a replacement hose was more expensive than the pressure washer. So I bought a Gerni 7300 only available in Australia but very similar to a Husqvana but significantly more powerful than a Karcher K2. I got multiple nozzles from variable to standard wide spray and turbo which has the ball bearing inside it. Also a brush attachment (handy for house windows) and the surface cleaner with two different nozzle heads standard and hammer. It too comes with a 12m reinforced hose and has an aluminium pump. It has an inlet water filter and a little pin device if the ball bearing in the turbo nozzle stops jiggling about. There's even a place on the machine to put that pin device so it doesn't get lost. A 20M reinforced hose is available to purchase as is a special 15m drain hose for clearing blocked drains. Extra lance lengths can also be bought for cleaning higher places around the house. Price for the pressure washer as it comes without the extras about 320 pounds with 2,320psi pressure at 8L/min flow. There's no onboard detergent tank nor can detergent be sucked into the pressure washer via a thin plastic tube. It also can't be used with potable water and is a mains water pressure washer only and it's also heavy at 22kg. Because it has an aluminium pump it can be run dry without water and in fact the operations manual says to run the pump dry to clear excess water from the hose. Unlike the Karcher which made enough noise to wake the dead this one is extremely quiet in operation and comes with a 7 year warranty.
I’ve been using mine for a small valeting business, so far it’s been pretty bullet proof. Only issues was with the stubby gun where the trigger would stick, which was replaced by Ava no problem, the warranty is void if it’s used for a business so be aware. The flexi hose will kink very easily which I feel like I’m battling with sometimes, I wasn’t aware this was due to the temp. The wheel the flexi-hose is on gets stuck and you end up pulling the machine. Just an honest review lots of pros and cons, I’d probably give it a 7/10 and will upgrade to the Evo when this dies. Thanks for your feedback Dave always interesting to hear your opinion.
I bought the p57, great little machine, i like how compact it is and the 12m hose was the deal breaker... i just forgot to register it for the warranty🤣
Great video yet again, i'm still using the karcher k2 have had its for the last 8 years still going well but think i need a upgrade, i'm liking the easy p57, you mention the flexi hose being diff to the older models how do the older model hoses differ in the cold/heat? Also you mention another model coming out should i wait for that one to come out?
@@epicautomotivedetailing feels odd at the moment, but plenty of power, full lance feels slightly heavy, but i'm sure i'll get used to it. Over all, pretty impressed. Thanks for you great reviews
After a new pressure washer as my k2 is starting to leak or the super glue is failing keeping it together only had it 8 years this looks a good pressure washer, was thinking of getting a k4 but that Ava looks a lot better set up
I bought a Master P70 bundle from Halfords in Jan last year. I like the machine very much indeed except for the hose winder which looks super good an efficient but seems to be a bit of a PITA to use and the fact there is nowhere particularly neat for the electric cable. The foam cannon is merely OK. Not sure if I can convert my brass bodied one from Nilfisk to an AVA connector or not (?). Despite these small niggles it's a first class machine to use.
@@epicautomotivedetailing is there any way to know if the one I would be buying is the latest version? Any recommendations on where to purchase it from?
Hi Dave great video the stubby gun in this video is the same as mine what adapter do I use to connect a different bottle I did purchase one it looks the same connection but it don’t connect…? Can you recommend one please 🙏 thank you
Hello they should all connect exactly the same. Just double check that plastic from the nozzle didn't come off and get inside the trigger like I did in the video
Ava is the best with practicality. The tidiest set up is Evo P60 p70 and p80 as everything fits nicely away. I made a video last year on the Evo p70 that covers everything
I purchased an Ava Easy P40 a few weeks ago and I'm liking it so far. I have one question though if anyone can help... I wanted to use it with some patio cleaning solution which said it was to be applied with a pressure washer. I realised I had no idea how to do this unless I used the foam cannon, but that would have diluted it too much. So I had to apply it manually. I then noticed that at least some Karcher models have a dedicated detergent pick up hose. Do any Ava models have this? Or should I have applied the detergent with the pressure washer a different way? Thanks!
hiya, trust me you really don't want the same chemical pickup hose as a karcher. All that chemical would go through the system and that's why they die off after a year or so. Check out my last video on the K4 to see how diluted it makes it (just terrible) best advice is to buy a cheap £5 pump sprayer and get the correct dilutions that way

I don't agree with leaving pressure washer out, I've had many pressure washers over the past decades and they are always left in the shed where temperatures definitely do reach negative, but I've never had a problem with pressure washers leaking after that. Seems like a problem unique to Ava.
No leaving pressure washers out in sub zero conditions is bad unless they are well covered, (maybe I should have stated that) and also you need to press the trigger to remove all water from the hose and system otherwise it expands when freezing. All pressure washers do that if left out in icy cold conditions so if it expands roughly 10% the washers would warp, the water would expand inside the pipes and cause cracks leading to potential leaks
@epicautomotivedetailing hmm I don't know, have you seen Ava's recommended procedure for taking water out in the winter? They have bonkers steps like running the pump for exactly 63 seconds without a hose connector, then putting in WD40 and what not. Not really practical to do every time you want to use it in winter and what's the alternative, store it in my living room? Honestly, Ava seem to be living on another planet if they think the average consumer in the UK can do that. It just seems a way for them to cop out on their so called 20 year warranty. I'm very interested in buying a pressure washer from them, but I don't like this at all...

Yeah but also to be fair not many people realised I pushed them hard to get rid of the previous foam cannon which was too thirsty on product so they are making progress and still great for an added freebie with the bundle 👌
I recently bought a Ava P57...but I wanted to use a "cheapy gun" on it so I bought one on Ali....when mounted I used a adapter, I bought a Karcher-type adapter which is NOT ok you must use an adapter which is for Nilfisk, then you can connect the hose! When using the cheapy gun, the AVA started pulsing...I found out the these cheapy gun's interiour flow pipes have a diameter which is too small for the througput volume of the Ava P57 (= 500 liters/min)....So I bought a MTM28....the diameter from a cheapy gun tube = 9.7mm versus MTM28 diameter 13mm! Then it works! Attention, I use the white 40° nozzle and changed it to a nozzle with aperture 1.4mm Now I'm testing a cheapy foam canon but I'm waiting for a bigger nozzle inside, AVA says a nozzle with diameter 1.35-1.4mm should work
I’m still doubting between the p57 or a more expensive version maybe the p70 evo… you were talking about a new version? Any advice would be helpful. Use mostly car cleaning.
Honestly if it's something that's going to go on the road with you and you always need to move it around then I'd pick this over the P70. Even though it's not a commercial machine It just does everything I need it to do.
Had my P55 over a year now, great machine but I've had 3 trigger guns now. This I wasn't happy with. The first very cheap gun leaked after just 2 months. No replacement from AVA because I am a business? 10 yr guarantee is void!!! According to ava the machines only meant to be used once a week. The second gun lasted 5 months, I was then told Buy another online and also buy a Metal part and replace the plastic pipe for the inside. If AVA just put the metal adapter inside the triggers they would be a 5* company.
Hi Chris that's one of the new updates on the P57 . Not sure about the other machines yet but they could have updated them. Yeah warranty doesn't cover commercial use sadly
