Note for everyone about bit depth: you will never be able to tell the difference between 10, 12 and 14 bit raw video. However, higher bit depth footage always has more potential for grading.
@@EnglishPete no, higher bit depth footage means it has greater potential for colour correction and grading regardless of how good your monitor is. If I grade some 8 bit footage and master to 8 bit, well I’ve lost information by pushing around the colours when there’s nothing in between. That’s why you should capture in a higher bit depth than the distribution format.

Hey Zeek , one thing I noticed in this last ML depository is that if you want to record a quick MOV file by disabling RAW VIDEO, It doesn't record sound , the way around this for those who want quick small files but having the magic lantern Zebras and Focus Peaking is to set the framerate to 25 and in post make sure you disable video resample so you can render 24 or 23.97 fos with sound , bug I found

This video is aging VERY gracefully. Special thanks Zeek, in June 2023 this was the easiest package to install and configure. Performance is good and the software is pretty darned stable. If a person grabs even a much later tutorial from RUclips the software described rarely matches the build from the ML website at all these days. Might I suggest that you move the final update, the link to the Feb 26th build, up to be the very first thing in the description? And while I am pretty sure nobody is going to read this comment that is good because I am now confused by your pinned comment which I have not read yet. My third tab has no "Custom Functions" item, and is the link to the June 26th? All I know is that my v. June 26 camera matches your tutorial perfectly and has been a great performer for a while now while I am looking for my next build/tutorial combo to risk. So here is my thought: ML has been in development for a really long time and as a result the social media, documentation and sources are all really krufty. As a result I think I will buy a new sd card before I try and move on to the recent builds like Crop Mood stuff. I hope that my camera will switch back and forth easily between versions by swapping cards. If that doesn't work I'm going to put out some Facebook messages looking for somebody abandoning their EOS project who will sell a body off cheap and just own two. We're dirt poor here so hopefully the card idea works ;-)
Go with whatever works for you, honestly! You know best. ;) This is just a fun hobby camera that can produce really great footage for the price! I plan on making some vids with my BMPCC soon as well, it's a great cam too.
Could it be that there is a new updated version from the "Original Build" it says 2023? Are your settings working then? And do i first extract the original version and then copy and replace you settings to the sd card and am good to go`? plase explain further or show the install step by step on the pc
Hi Zeek, (or anybody else able to give some help). As far as I am concerned you must be the ML master on youtube. I love your videos. I have been able to buy an EOS M and I have bought several SD cards but without any luck yet. The camera starts dropping frames and just quits after 5 seconds (before 8). This camera must be a gem but so far the journey has been rather disappoiting. I seem to be missing some of the options you are showing. Any tips would be appreciated.
@@ZeekEOSZ I formatted the SD card in camera and started from scratch , already had canon firmware which had the latest firmware , I then did as you said and waited 60 seconds after magic lantern installed , restarted and much more stable now 🙏 I use custom menues , just the custom modes do not have names which I'll rename , thanks for the help

Zeek, I've been using eos m for one year, using your guides and I thought that footage I get is just stunning but after I sold all my eos m and 5d m2 gear and bought Nikon z6 and took first video I was shocked(by the way try to watch your previous video on a big 4k tv, u put to much sharpening 🙂) . Nikon z6 makes down sampling the same as Sony A7 III and a7c from 6k to 4k and has 144mbit/s bit rate, good fast autofocus. Of course it's only 8bit but when I compare footage with eos m and 5m2 this is just day and night. Maybe I can't push colors so far as I was able to do that on eos m but i can get similar results if I adjust white balance property and know how to work with picture profiles and post editing. After all I can say that eos m for real enthusiasts and hard workers with steel nerves and still it can be only good for it's price. But when u get some top end recent camera u feel relief and pleasure from the process of shooting instead of hard wanking.
It depends on the look you're after. The M can create footage look like an 80's cam which I like. If I want clinical clean stuff, I'd use Blackmagic or my Sony. The M is a nice hobby camera and I love the look coming out of it. It depends on you needs obviously. It's a fun camera that I enjoy using a lot. 😎👍🔥

Is there a video or guide to help me understand all of the content in this video? Turns out I am much more beginner level than I realized. I’m mainly just trying to shoot simple RUclips tutorials for floral designing with a few clips/B roll of nice close ups and pans sprinkled in when appropriate. But mainly just static frame tutorials. Just got this camera in this week and can’t wait to get started!
This is the best Zeek. Watching this video I am learning and finally getting my ML EOS M Camera to do what it does. I realized my canon menu settings were wrong, in the Eos M Canon menus, like making sure MF and 1/50 shutter are set, and that was why having troubles in learning this, Now I understand, and can duplicate what you are doing on the screen. Zeek thank you so much for your dedication to this camera and ML. I got an eos m per your recommendation and, even after binging your videos, the dang thing freaks out when it’s not in 1080 hd mode.. in 2.5 mode the screen won’t show a preview, just a chaotic bunch of pink white and yellow lines.
Hey, Zeek! Very helpful video, as always. Thanks! Keep it up! I have a question: When I use manual C-Mount lens I can't properly expose. The preview I see in the LiveView on the camera screen is usually waaaaay darker than the actual photo I will get. I use Manual mode as you suggested but I can't get my head around this issue. The problem is I need to take a few photos with different settings to kinda blindly get to a proper exposure. Also, as you can imagine, getting everything in focus becomes a pain, too. Because most of the time I almost can't see anything on the screen. It's too dark. But if I will brighten the exposure, then my final result will be dramatically overexposed. I get this issue with and without MagicLantern "turned on" (different SD cards). Is this my camera or am I doing something wrong? Do you know about any resources on how to use manual lenses with EOS M? Anyway, thank you one more time! Keep up the great work!
ML Tab 1, 'Disable' ExpSim down the bottom, enable 'Expo. override' above it! 😎👍 With manual lenses, I explain early in the video. In Canon Menu, in Custom functions 'yellow' section, enable 'release without shutter'. 🍻
Another question professor Zeek!: in this update you don't restart your camera at changing the modes, you just press menu...i tried on my version of ML and it does not work, i need to restart rhe camera. I should install ML again with this new link? Thanks again
No just changed the presets which you can do. You enable custom presets in ML Tab 3 if you want to quickly save your settings for each mode and access them easily. I sety custom modes off, but in my settings of the build provoded I have enabled custom modes on for you if you enable it.

None of these settings working with my EosM . Im quite experienced person. The only resolution under ML that work is 1080. Even with fastest SD card 270Mb write speed. I just want to record 2.8 or 4K mp4 file. but no success. Recently I tried FHD from 5DsR that is amazing. Img quality is outstanding.

This was very helpful professor Zeek. Does audio recording affects video recording lenght? Or maybe I´m just looking for excuses to buy and external recorder. BTW, what would you recommend to capture action shots, i find it so hard to keep steady and not making jerking motions during recording.
No it doesn't. I use Rode Wireless Go, they're perfect! For action shots, any stabilzed lenses will work fine, like Canon 11-22mm, or the kits 15-45/18-55, Sigma/Tamron17-50, Canon 17-55, pretty much all these stabilzed lenses are fine! 😎👍
the best guide for new eosm users! i wish it came out earlier. but i have one problem with viltrox speedbooster and efs 10-18: sometimes the cam does not start or freezes. then i have to remove the battery and start again. have you ever had such problem? speedboster firmware is the latest of the site, 1.04. with 1.03 the lens does not even work with focus and data transmission.
There have been a few reports with the 10-18mm not working properly on the Viltrox. I have two Viltrox Speedboosters, it works fine on one but not so well on the other. On the 10-18mm, then the switch the MF and see if that helps! 👍
@@debasht I still use Viltrox on my other rigs, but I paid a high price at the time for the Metabones, so I'm putting it to more use. Honestly the EF-m native lenses are doing very well, optically they're quite superb, like the 11-22mm, 22mm, 55-200mm and even the 7 Asrtisans 12mm.

why do you avoid the 2.5k frtp mode? Danne has done some amazing work. you get a solid live preview now. it's cropped on the right a bit but that's pretty much it. no need to switch if you are mainly concerned with correct framing in the center. it's in the experiments thread if you want to check it out.
He has done amazing work for sure! I wouldn't say the preview is solid in 2.5kfrtp. When you press the framing button, it's still missing a part of the right side. The little bit of extra zoom in 2.5k mode allows me to get more critical focus. If the frtp 2.5k mode works for you then go for it! All these modes work for different people, I personally don't like it. I do like 5K FRTP though.
Hello! i want to know few things about these mode if it doesn't mind. How much cropfactor do we get in 2.5k and 2.8k? Also Do you use only MLV app for colorgrading or you grade your footage later in editing software? your short film have awesome color by they way.
Can you shoot an hour of footage straight using 1080p raw on this? I am planning on shooting weddings with this setup.. Would you advise shooting professional work with this? Thanks

Hey man love your videos. I picked up an EOS M becuase of your videos as a second cam. I updated the firmware... and installed the build you reccomended. Initally setting it up I cant get the record button to work. I have tried with diferent cards.. Though I shoot sandisk extreme pro cards.... Nothing seems to help. I tried all the "shutter-bug" fixes I could find. Wondering if this is an issue. Or if I'm just doing somethig wrong. As I'm kind of new to ML.

It's extremely helpful :) quick question, I've been watching all your other videos and reading your comments to try and get a better understanding of how to shoot in low light. You recommend not going above 100 iso but also in another comment say to keep exposure between 0.2 and 0.8. The issue is even if I shoot wide open with the helios 44-2 on a speed booster under a street light (for example) I can get nowhere close to that exposure without bumping the iso. Doing tests with 100-400 iso and everything looks super noisy.. I love the shots you took at the aquarium with the same set up and am curious how you got such clean and well exposed footage in a near pitch black environment! Any advice would be hugely appreciated :) thanks
Hello Zeek, I have been going down the rabbit hole of magic lantern lately trying to decide if it would be worth to get an EOS M or MII, my thing is, I shoot wildlife with a sony set up but i do have an adapted tamron 150-600mm with the canon mount, I just cant seem to fully grasp how the 4k modes work, and also the 3 times crop, because if i still have decent resolution 600mm x3 sounds great, and even though i know the tamron doesnt have the sharpest image quality on crop bodies may be worth trying?
Got my EOS M delivered a few days back (in South Africa) and I'm still waiting for the Sandisk Extreme Pro card to arrive. In the meantime I have been testing ML out on a 80MB/s Sandisk Ultra card. Only 1080 and the 5k anamorphic work. The others are showing pink lines. Is this related to my card? Using same build as in this video.
When you first boot it up into magic lantern, how do you see that live audio meter and the mf/af button? I don't get that despite installing magic lantern according to your instuctions
Do the Zeek settings in your description include everything you set up in this video or do I still need to follow along and set everything up for the video?
In 3rd tab, custom modes is OFF, if you enable it, you will have access to all the settings I have set for those modes in the video. I left it off just to keep it basic and not to overwhelming for new users. So enable it and my mode settings will appear. 👌
It's unfortunate that with Magic Lantern I cannot use my wireless monitor device, BenBox, but in Canon settings it does work. Is there a difference using 1080p with Canon and with Magic Lantern?

hello zeek I bought a SanDisk 512GB SD card, but EOS-M doesn't recognize the Magic Lantern firmware Sandisk 32GB and 256GB have been working fine. Is there anything I need to prepare before using???
5K FRTP Mode works fine!! I only get a lot of flicker on the screen (for example when I change ISO or Aperture), in addition the real time preview gets a black bar (then I have to go to menu and back). Although it doesn't effect the recorded image, is there any chance to solve this? In addition I always get problems with 24 fps in 5K FRTP Mode ( preview freezes) - is there any solution ?
hey man, great video as always. I went out to shoot using the 2.5k settings and whilst the shots look really beautiful they're super choppy. Do you have any idea why this might be? I have a decent SD card which shouldn't cause any problems.
You mean choppy in camera? Press info button to switch between real-time and framing (choppy). It's choppy as it shows the actual raw frames which unfortunately are played back at lower fps in camera.
@@ZeekEOSZ it was choppy when playing back after i exported it from MLV app, but then I watched your more recent MLV workflow video and started using DNG and DaVinci Resolve. the footage is no longer choppy and looks fantastic ! As always you're an absolute treasure trove of info on the EOS M!

And in the "magic lantern" installation videos you showed, I didn't see that you dragged that file and left it to the sd card, that's why I'm asking. I personally don't want the 5DIII 😆 I've owned it before and currently have the 5D2. I always pick up the M more, it gives me the look I want. I also have a Pocket 6K cam. If you like Full Frame, then the 5D3 Raw is very nice 😎👌 You're right though, there is development around the R/RP so...💰
Hey zeek, been eating up these videos for the past few weeks, Im new to filmography, and I saw what you were doing with these cameras and I had to get myself one. Ive been having problems getting the 5k anamorphic frtp and higher resolutions to work, so far only 1080 p works, and I've been using the build you worked on from danne in the description. the frames keep freezing and I keep getting pink stripes, also I looked at a forum page on the problem about pink stripes and it didnt work (where you revert to default settings, uninstall, install wait 60 second and then reinstall and that didnt work. I've been turning off the crop rec, the fps ive reverted to less then 24 fps and nothing on the higher than 1080p resolutions not working forum post seems to be doing anything 1080p still works tho. The rggb meter seems to be overworking itself even under the settings I learned in this video. I'm all over the magic lantern forums and the ml discord the past week trying to find an answer but I haven't found an answer yet, so I thought I would ask the master himself hahaha *Update* sent everything into the eos m magic lantern Facebook, they helped me out and i figured it out. Can’t wait to check out your build the way it was meant to be checked out!!!!

Yeah, I think that was a really misleading statement that could put someone in a tight spot if they didn't know better.
You would need a monitor that can resolve that depth in the first place

@@ZeekEOSZ I formatted the SD card in camera and started from scratch , already had canon firmware which had the latest firmware , I then did as you said and waited 60 seconds after magic lantern installed , restarted and much more stable now 🙏 I use custom menues , just the custom modes do not have names which I'll rename , thanks for the help

For wide lenses, I prefer 2.5K (~3 .2x crop) or 2.8K (~2.96x crop) modes for their great resolution and lack of aliasing compared to 1080 mode.
Zeek, I've been using eos m for one year, using your guides and I thought that footage I get is just stunning but after I sold all my eos m and 5d m2 gear and bought Nikon z6 and took first video I was shocked(by the way try to watch your previous video on a big 4k tv, u put to much sharpening 🙂) . Nikon z6 makes down sampling the same as Sony A7 III and a7c from 6k to 4k and has 144mbit/s bit rate, good fast autofocus. Of course it's only 8bit but when I compare footage with eos m and 5m2 this is just day and night. Maybe I can't push colors so far as I was able to do that on eos m but i can get similar results if I adjust white balance property and know how to work with picture profiles and post editing. After all I can say that eos m for real enthusiasts and hard workers with steel nerves and still it can be only good for it's price. But when u get some top end recent camera u feel relief and pleasure from the process of shooting instead of hard wanking.
It depends on the look you're after. The M can create footage look like an 80's cam which I like. If I want clinical clean stuff, I'd use Blackmagic or my Sony. The M is a nice hobby camera and I love the look coming out of it. It depends on you needs obviously. It's a fun camera that I enjoy using a lot. 😎👍🔥

Is there a video or guide to help me understand all of the content in this video? Turns out I am much more beginner level than I realized. I’m mainly just trying to shoot simple RUclips tutorials for floral designing with a few clips/B roll of nice close ups and pans sprinkled in when appropriate. But mainly just static frame tutorials. Just got this camera in this week and can’t wait to get started!

This is the best Zeek. Watching this video I am learning and finally getting my ML EOS M Camera to do what it does. I realized my canon menu settings were wrong, in the Eos M Canon menus, like making sure MF and 1/50 shutter are set, and that was why having troubles in learning this, Now I understand, and can duplicate what you are doing on the screen. Zeek thank you so much for your dedication to this camera and ML. I got an eos m per your recommendation and, even after binging your videos, the dang thing freaks out when it’s not in 1080 hd mode.. in 2.5 mode the screen won’t show a preview, just a chaotic bunch of pink white and yellow lines.
It won't show a preview of you've set the wrong 2.5k preset, like 2.5k HDMI. Send me a snapshot of you screen to my FB or Instagram. 👍

Hey, Zeek! Very helpful video, as always. Thanks! Keep it up! I have a question: When I use manual C-Mount lens I can't properly expose. The preview I see in the LiveView on the camera screen is usually waaaaay darker than the actual photo I will get. I use Manual mode as you suggested but I can't get my head around this issue. The problem is I need to take a few photos with different settings to kinda blindly get to a proper exposure. Also, as you can imagine, getting everything in focus becomes a pain, too. Because most of the time I almost can't see anything on the screen. It's too dark. But if I will brighten the exposure, then my final result will be dramatically overexposed. I get this issue with and without MagicLantern "turned on" (different SD cards). Is this my camera or am I doing something wrong? Do you know about any resources on how to use manual lenses with EOS M? Anyway, thank you one more time! Keep up the great work!
ML Tab 1, 'Disable' ExpSim down the bottom, enable 'Expo. override' above it! 😎👍
With manual lenses, I explain early in the video. In Canon Menu, in Custom functions 'yellow' section, enable 'release without shutter'. 🍻

No just changed the presets which you can do.
You enable custom presets in ML Tab 3 if you want to quickly save your settings for each mode and access them easily. I sety custom modes off, but in my settings of the build provoded I have enabled custom modes on for you if you enable it.

Hi I love the video and also bought in lenses buy my camera is a canon m with 2.0.2 firmware but the magic software is download but once Is finish the camera request reset and never load the new magic software do you know what happens?
Don't wait 60 seconds as that's how you uninstall. When it says reset, then you turn it off and back on again.

None of these settings working with my EosM . Im quite experienced person. The only resolution under ML that work is 1080. Even with fastest SD card 270Mb write speed. I just want to record 2.8 or 4K mp4 file. but no success. Recently I tried FHD from 5DsR that is amazing. Img quality is outstanding.

As for settings, pretty much 2.8K Mode will get you that look explained in this video. It's a 2.96x Crop so close to 2.80 or whatever 🤘🎥🔥.
Otherwise you can shoot Super 8 17fps 3K.

No it doesn't. I use Rode Wireless Go, they're perfect!
For action shots, any stabilzed lenses will work fine, like Canon 11-22mm, or the kits 15-45/18-55, Sigma/Tamron17-50, Canon 17-55, pretty much all these stabilzed lenses are fine! 😎👍

the best guide for new eosm users! i wish it came out earlier. but i have one problem with viltrox speedbooster and efs 10-18: sometimes the cam does not start or freezes. then i have to remove the battery and start again. have you ever had such problem? speedboster firmware is the latest of the site, 1.04. with 1.03 the lens does not even work with focus and data transmission.
There have been a few reports with the 10-18mm not working properly on the Viltrox. I have two Viltrox Speedboosters, it works fine on one but not so well on the other. On the 10-18mm, then the switch the MF and see if that helps! 👍

I still use Viltrox on my other rigs, but I paid a high price at the time for the Metabones, so I'm putting it to more use. Honestly the EF-m native lenses are doing very well, optically they're quite superb, like the 11-22mm, 22mm, 55-200mm and even the 7 Asrtisans 12mm.

What is the best camera to use magic lantern with currently?
why do you avoid the 2.5k frtp mode? Danne has done some amazing work. you get a solid live preview now. it's cropped on the right a bit but that's pretty much it. no need to switch if you are mainly concerned with correct framing in the center. it's in the experiments thread if you want to check it out.
He has done amazing work for sure! I wouldn't say the preview is solid in 2.5kfrtp. When you press the framing button, it's still missing a part of the right side. The little bit of extra zoom in 2.5k mode allows me to get more critical focus. If the frtp 2.5k mode works for you then go for it! All these modes work for different people, I personally don't like it. I do like 5K FRTP though.

Yes you can 👍 you need to go to the powersave option in the ML menu and disable 30 minute limit.

You can, there is tracking but it works really bad with continuous hunting. AF for video is very more and not recommended.

Hey man love your videos. I picked up an EOS M becuase of your videos as a second cam. I updated the firmware... and installed the build you reccomended. Initally setting it up I cant get the record button to work. I have tried with diferent cards.. Though I shoot sandisk extreme pro cards.... Nothing seems to help. I tried all the "shutter-bug" fixes I could find. Wondering if this is an issue. Or if I'm just doing somethig wrong. As I'm kind of new to ML.
If you're using manual lenses, in the Canon menu (yellow wrench), go to custom functions and enable "release without shutter"

It's extremely helpful :) quick question, I've been watching all your other videos and reading your comments to try and get a better understanding of how to shoot in low light. You recommend not going above 100 iso but also in another comment say to keep exposure between 0.2 and 0.8. The issue is even if I shoot wide open with the helios 44-2 on a speed booster under a street light (for example) I can get nowhere close to that exposure without bumping the iso. Doing tests with 100-400 iso and everything looks super noisy.. I love the shots you took at the aquarium with the same set up and am curious how you got such clean and well exposed footage in a near pitch black environment! Any advice would be hugely appreciated :) thanks

Hello Zeek, I have been going down the rabbit hole of magic lantern lately trying to decide if it would be worth to get an EOS M or MII, my thing is, I shoot wildlife with a sony set up but i do have an adapted tamron 150-600mm with the canon mount, I just cant seem to fully grasp how the 4k modes work, and also the 3 times crop, because if i still have decent resolution 600mm x3 sounds great, and even though i know the tamron doesnt have the sharpest image quality on crop bodies may be worth trying?
Got my EOS M delivered a few days back (in South Africa) and I'm still waiting for the Sandisk Extreme Pro card to arrive. In the meantime I have been testing ML out on a 80MB/s Sandisk Ultra card. Only 1080 and the 5k anamorphic work. The others are showing pink lines. Is this related to my card? Using same build as in this video.
Yes your card is slow. Otherwise make sure your fps is 24/25p and you have enabled 10 bit
When you first boot it up into magic lantern, how do you see that live audio meter and the mf/af button? I don't get that despite installing magic lantern according to your instuctions

In 3rd tab, custom modes is OFF, if you enable it, you will have access to all the settings I have set for those modes in the video. I left it off just to keep it basic and not to overwhelming for new users. So enable it and my mode settings will appear. 👌

It's unfortunate that with Magic Lantern I cannot use my wireless monitor device, BenBox, but in Canon settings it does work. Is there a difference using 1080p with Canon and with Magic Lantern?

Thank you for the great videos. Did you say that there is a way to adjust the part of the frame the crop mode is zooming in to? If you get vignetting on one side of the image - can you bump it over, or would you have to select a different mode to center on the vignette?
You would need to use 2.5K "Centered mode" which has an accurate crop of the image. 2.5K FRTP is also another great mode, I use it the most.
I followed everything you did and I also have sandisk extreme pro 128gb. But when I start filming, the camera automatically stops after 1 or 2 secs.

5K FRTP Mode works fine!! I only get a lot of flicker on the screen (for example when I change ISO or Aperture), in addition the real time preview gets a black bar (then I have to go to menu and back). Although it doesn't effect the recorded image, is there any chance to solve this? In addition I always get problems with 24 fps in 5K FRTP Mode ( preview freezes) - is there any solution ?

I don't use 5K FRTP, but I've provided my settings for it, 1089 does have aliasing and moire.

hey man, great video as always. I went out to shoot using the 2.5k settings and whilst the shots look really beautiful they're super choppy. Do you have any idea why this might be? I have a decent SD card which shouldn't cause any problems.
You mean choppy in camera? Press info button to switch between real-time and framing (choppy). It's choppy as it shows the actual raw frames which unfortunately are played back at lower fps in camera.
@@ZeekEOSZ it was choppy when playing back after i exported it from MLV app, but then I watched your more recent MLV workflow video and started using DNG and DaVinci Resolve. the footage is no longer choppy and looks fantastic ! As always you're an absolute treasure trove of info on the EOS M!

Hello ,In the June 26 settings file you shared, there is a file named ''.DS_Store'' which is not available in other shared files. Did you add it by mistake? And in the "magic lantern" installation videos you showed, I didn't see that you dragged that file and left it to the sd card, that's why I'm asking. Also, thank you for giving us this good information, I'm waiting for your reply.
No you don't need DS.store, it just randomly creates itself.

Give us a tutorial on button/wheel usage. It is hard to see how menu items are selected or changed
It's touchscreen. Hold the down button to enter the ML Menu, then cycle through with the wheel or tap the screen.

Using faster lenses will help. It's a camera from 2012 & Aps-c, so using speedboosters or a big aperture lens like F1.4/1.8 will help.

I personally don't want the 5DIII 😆 I've owned it before and currently have the 5D2. I always pick up the M more, it gives me the look I want. I also have a Pocket 6K cam. If you like Full Frame, then the 5D3 Raw is very nice 😎👌

Hey zeek, been eating up these videos for the past few weeks, Im new to filmography, and I saw what you were doing with these cameras and I had to get myself one.
Ive been having problems getting the 5k anamorphic frtp and higher resolutions to work, so far only 1080 p works, and I've been using the build you worked on from danne in the description. the frames keep freezing and I keep getting pink stripes, also I looked at a forum page on the problem about pink stripes and it didnt work (where you revert to default settings, uninstall, install wait 60 second and then reinstall and that didnt work. I've been turning off the crop rec, the fps ive reverted to less then 24 fps and nothing on the higher than 1080p resolutions not working forum post seems to be doing anything 1080p still works tho. The rggb meter seems to be overworking itself even under the settings I learned in this video.
I'm all over the magic lantern forums and the ml discord the past week trying to find an answer but I haven't found an answer yet, so I thought I would ask the master himself hahaha
