No. I’d rather know this information. He didn’t spoil the story - he essentially says it suffers the same problem as a lot of 3D Zelda games do, where the progress halts for an overly long, not fun quest that needs completed before getting back to the main game
But the “spoiler”, if you can even call it that, is critical to understanding why they only scored it a 7, which I’m sure you’re also complaining about.

Just finished it, nice short game, a 7 is ok. Pros: + creative + funny bits + good mini games + good puzzles Cons: - boring and extremly easy combat - a bit slow pacing during narrations and dialogs - no replay value

Man, that final act must have been one hell of a drag to bring down the score. Not to mention the wordy script and too many obvious hints that's similar to God of War.
This game is way better than Star wars outlaws. If Star wars outlaws gets 7/10 this game desreves 10/10. I've played this game on PS5 this is a must play game for everyone.
7 is very generous. Its closer to a 5 for me. Feels like it was made for young children, the gameplay is interrupted every 5 seconds for narration which becomes a little infuriating. Just let me play the damn game.
7 out of 10 is generous, the second play through is an absolute slog, managed to get through it in just over 5 hours… the unskipable dialogue and cutscenes shouldn’t exist anymore. Control gets taken away from you constantly to add a bit of dialogue. Chapter 9 is especially slow, it just turns something fun into a tedious chore… and it is far too easy.
This is a very unique niche title with a lot of craft and effort put into it by a small passionate team, so I'm not surprised IGN gave it a 7 over say, a Call of Duty game year after year or God of War Fragglerock, hold up to walk through the environment and let the game play itself for you "cinematic experiences" that IGN would easily give a 9 or a 10 out of 10 to.

Why is every puzzle game "zelda inspired"? This looks likes it's own thing.
They only know 3 games Souls, Zelda and Mario so they say everything is just a variation of those games
James Turner who worked on the game said it's inspired by multiple Nintendo games, Zelda included.
