Great video! That’s not stalling that’s just getting a heavy train moving on a grade with what I saw was in wet weather with slippery rails. You won’t see that too much in Alabama do to the lack of grades so good catch. I live in California, so that’s a pretty common sight especially places like Tehachapi or Donner Passes.
I suspect its the shove of a 4th loco back in the train that needed time to auto start and throttle up based on the delay and sudden increase in acceleration.
The sound of notch 2 going to notch 3 is unbeatable....
*Ole Ed leaning on the throttle... "Screeeee!!!" **0:30*
Amazing capture, great closeup and the leaf holding on that was cool. Pickup truck passing by that was nice too.👍
Glad you enjoyed!
the real warrior is the leaf holding on for dear life at 1mph
LOL I didn't even see that
Very nice video including the wheel close up! I expect more UP on NS 154. Lol.
Muito massa o barulho desse trem!
*Onion! Pacific!*
(And #3 has some *SOOT,* too!)

Slack from the draw bars on the cars releasing and expanding outward. You will really see a locomotive jump around with auto racks:

this happens because the railway system is very old and needs to be renewed
