Durastall plumbing installation

You will learn the number one biggest mistake people make when installing a Durastall shower. You will also learn the following:
1. How to install a Durastall shower on a back wall using a rainfall type shower head.
2. How to install the standard plastic Durastall mixer valve and shower head using PEX tubing, and Braided metal hoses, and 90 degree galvanized elbows.

For the fitting inside the wall, why is 1/4" from the drywall best instead of right up flush to the drywall?
