I live in Canada and I am ashamed to admit that I did not know it was National Indigenous Peoples Day. It is all the more annoying that here in Quebec, we have several good French-speaking native authors very present in the media. So a big thank you for this excellent video (I really like the vlog format). And I’m taking note for next year.😊

It's an easy day to miss since there are so many other things going on that weekend (summer solstice, father's day), but I hope it continues to gain awareness! Sadly a lot of the live events that typically occur had to be moved online this year. But thank you for the reminder to look into French-speaking Indigenous authors! :)
