Meh...I wouldn't worry about it. That technology isn't even possible. Think about daily driving and all the shit a person deals with when driving an 18 wheeler. Do you really think software will be able to anticipate for all that? No way. Domino pizza can't even get a "driverless" car deliver a pizza on city streets.
Ooo, Walmart dc in Seymour IN… I gotta go there all the time to grab pallet loads for Indy delivery. Huh… not makin’ excuses for my pumpkin brethren, but all the times I’ve delivered there, they never had me slide tandems like that. No wonder he was having a hard time.

I remember my first encounter with a lot lizard lol "I was just trying to get some money for some cigarettes' and a shower, you think we could work something out?"
Friends dad driver. When 11 or 12 we'd go with him on shorter trip like Knoxville to Ohio. Took fridge trailer with meat from slaughterhouse to Kelly canning plant. Return trip canned meat to supply house in Knoxville. He always stayed 2 or3 days before return "waiting on load". Spent them in little bar getting drink with girl friend while we played pin ball and pretty much ran amock. Made us swear not to tell. Guess I finally did!
10 years trucking, heard your comment about shorts and shoes, I get it it's hot but wait till a load lock let's go and you open the doors to something falling out of the trailer or you miss step and tear your shins on the steps. I do wear tennis shoes but they are steel toe! Stay safe! And keep it in the right lane except to pass of course!

I think I found the problem. Although I do keep my phone plugged in all day but I won’t use my phone to record anything? I’m going to play with the audio settings and see.
Lizards should make pretty good money. I was on a cross country run with my b/f a couple years ago. Lot was full when we stopped for the night and had to park way in the back. From the time I walked into the store and back to the truck I had 6 offers from drivers.

When your driving in the cities how do you know if you can go under a bridge before you approach it. I always see accidents with big rigs not able to go under them
I have bee out of trucking for many years, Indianapolis was always covered up with lot lizards even in my day!! LOl
I drove every kind of manual transmission out there, triplex, duplex, and quadruplex Transmission !.never had an Automatic to driver in my lifetime of driving and I always wore sneaks an shorts when driving my
self. So your not alone driver. 😃😃😃😃
Everyone should do a pre trip inspection you should thank a trucker...
You got cool vids…didn’t get to see some of them yet..getting to trucking too soon I hope..hey get your self some nice headlamp that will help you at night hooking and unhooking..great job!
1:14 Do you thin they have a wide load banner on their front bumper?
Ha! I didn't know what a lot lizard was, until McDonald's. Lol...great video, drive safe.
Thanks! Will do
After you said you was a help that guy back that trailer up in the spot when that van went around them. Was that me or did that van look like it was going about 40 miles an hour
I meant my children's mom at a truck stop she ended up being my wife for 22 years
Interesting, thanks for sharing
I managed a truck stop years ago. Do the lot lizards look any better than they used to or is it still the same quality? On TV they make them look a hell of a lot better than I remember. 😂
I never saw one that would even begin to tempt me usually when they get to that stage they are so rough they can’t work anywhere else
Great video bro. Had me laughing my ass off with the lot lizard.
Nice of you to help the rookie. I’m learning 90 degrees in school now. Not easy for us rookies. You make it look smooth dude. Thanks for the content!
Thank you for the support! I always try to help when I can

Did you know Swift invests millions of dollars in autonomous truck research? 👍 Keep up the good work. Putting money in the Pocket of a company trying to put us all out of a job so they can profit more in the future.
Yes. I’m sure anyone that is in the trucking industry knows that.
Even if it happens what do you want me to do? Quit?
Meh...I wouldn't worry about it. That technology isn't even possible. Think about daily driving and all the shit a person deals with when driving an 18 wheeler. Do you really think software will be able to anticipate for all that? No way.
Domino pizza can't even get a "driverless" car deliver a pizza on city streets.
So why does swift get a bad wrap?
Autonomous/Self Driving Trucks?
NIT to Worry as Famous AM Late Night Radio Host George Nori Says.
It's probably going to happen.
Nice video, nothing against Swift, although they do get trash talked alot. Keep it Safe 👍
Well good video and I hope your one of the better swift drivers
Hey bro...great content man...I love pov vids like this. Like when u just chat and show backing and coupling trailers...good stuff. There's another RUclips guy kinda like you...His name is Chez. He used to drive swift and show pov videos and talks with chat like you...Both you guys got me looking into changing careers to trucking...be safe and keep these vids coming...and congrats with Swift liking your channel!!
Thanks man I appreciate it! It’s a good industry to be in if you ask me.
Ll
I remember my first encounter with a lot lizard lol "I was just trying to get some money for some cigarettes' and a shower, you think we could work something out?"
Hey Benny... show us some check-in's and the process... as well as departures processes...
I’ll be sure to show more of that!
Stop at the Wild West truck stop in Vegas sometime, there's so many lot lizards roaming around.😄
I didn't know they made steel toe tennis shoes. That's awesome!
Great video !! I'm not a trucker yet, but it was great to watch.
Thanks for the support !
Hey did you get your cdl through swift?
Those lizard's will give you more than you paid for.
14:00 could been me(not saying it is), I am still a rookie and have not been out enough to have the experience. I have my CDL always one reason or another I am not able to go on the road. Thanks for sharing!
How you like swift brother?? I’m in my training rn ! I have about 80 more hours to go before I go solo
That’s great to hear man! I’m still liking it man, taking each day as it comes.
My husband is a truck driver. You help me to understand what he does . Thanks
You didn't know it was stuck on the string! dur dur dur! ;) Drive safe brother.
Haha! Thank you, you as well.
Been driving 49 years i almost seen it all lot of good times the days of the big trucks always had triple digit truck and work for owner operator no fleet trucks
Sounds like fun
I know any time I charge electronics it causes that static sound. I'm not sure if you were charging anything, but just thought I'd mention it.
I think I found the problem. Although I do keep my phone plugged in all day but I won’t use my phone to record anything?
I’m going to play with the audio settings and see.
I wore shorts mostly. Jeans would make heat blisters on my nether regions. Had to have them lanced
I rarely go right Nashville TN I usually take 840 around to Lebanon TN n avoid that traffic if possible
Lizards should make pretty good money. I was on a cross country run with my b/f a couple years ago. Lot was full when we stopped for the night and had to park way in the back. From the time I walked into the store and back to the truck I had 6 offers from drivers.
First time on your channel. Great content.
Interesting Video..I was curious if you're Map could be moved over to the door post more. Big portion of glass and view you're covering there. Just Sayin!
Great video...Thanks for the driving lesson. Now that I just learned how to maneuver one of these big rigs, I'm ready to go get me a job application. I'll worry about getting my class A driver license at a later date. I never drove one these, but after watching this I feel like a pro.
