Do I need a wedding dress underskirt? (fishtail)

From our wedding dress shop The Wedding Rooms in Kidderminster Worcestershire, we continue our look into underskirts for wedding dresses.
In this video we are focuses on fitted wedding dress including mermaid wedding dresses, fishtail wedding dresses and fit and flare wedding dresses. We have also different wedding dresses fabrics to see how these work with wedding dress underskirts.
We show a wedding dress without an underskirt and then add a one hoop underskirt, to demonstrate how this can change the shape of the dress. So if you are considering adding an underskirt for your wedding dress take look.

I am a tiny bride, I am 145cm tall (4 foot 9ish) and a size 6-8 uk waist but a 32DD bust, I am struggling to find a dress that looks nice on me. I have bought 2 dresses already, one is an empire line and the other is a mermaid style with a very low illusion back. I loved the mermaid style on me, but it's so long because it's off the rack. The empire one is made to measure from JJ's house, so it fits perfectly, but makes me look even shorter and wide.
Is there any advice you can give me on what style and shape dress will look good on me.

Have you taken the mermaid style dress to a seamstress to be taken up? Even a consultation with one might make all the difference with your confidence with that dress. A dress that you love and makes you feel amazing is YOUR dress style. Lighter fabrics and softer details sometimes work best with petite brides. Play around with necklines too if you love fitted styles x

I think so! but might not help that much in my opinion. I want to wear one, because the glitters on my shoes catch the bottom of dress so easily😓
