I was always told to never use clippers going up on the beard. Your length will be more consistent going up but your training the beard to go more out than down.

Honestly, it would look better without the fade, just the 6 blade all around and tidying up the edges. The fade just makes the beard look uneven. That being said, you have an incredible beard anyway
