Campo Days 2024 - Coaster 2103 Tour & SP 3873 Cab Ride!

Footage from the annual "Campo Days" event the weekend of May 4/5 at the Railroad Museum in Campo, CA. The Coaster 2103 didn't run this go around like it did last Campo Days, however, it was out on display and I was fortunate enough to get a tour of the cab and the engine room!
The Southern Pacific 3873 was on point of all the excursion runs sporting a nice sounding old cast Nathan P5 Horn! All my prior shots were when this engine sported the M5... gotta love this classic P-series horn combined with the older pull cord valve!
I rode with the engineer from the layover spot at Railroad Museum down to the Campo depot and recorded some of the operations performed (Air tests, shove movements, etc) that mirror real railroading duties practiced on the daily by any railroad in America.
