I bought this kit largely on your recommendation. I installed everything and when I put it all together I’ve got no lights. They do not tell you which colored wire goes where on the on/off switch so I’ve got no lights. I’ve got a 36 volt cart and so I attached my black and red to a negative on one battery and a positive on the next. So, it could be that I didn’t attach the three wires that go one the switch correctly or I don’t know. Nothing in the directions tells you which wire goes where on the switch and I didn’t take a picture. Help.
great video for the installation of this kit. I bought the light set you put into your link and it works great. You helped with the anxiety of cutting into the body to do this install. I have one issue I am trying to resolve. I bought a seperate rocker switch to use for the lights which include usb chargers. My issue is the harness has three wires to the switch, red, black and blue. I hooked the blue to the load prong and attached the red to red and black to black and keep blowing fuses. I am wondering if you have a suggestion on how to resolve this?
Great explanation! Would just hooking to two batteries in your pack cause uneven draw on those two, throwing off the overall health of the pack over time? Also, if I already have the old factory halogen lights installed what would be a recommended drop in led replacement, using the same factory bezel?
LEDs use very little power to run so you shouldn't have any issues. To find a light that will work with your OEM lights you might check out www.buggiesunlimited.com
My question is.. if my DS has existing lights from the factory, are the holes to large? Or do I have to cut out more material? If they are to large, do they sell a kit to accommodate the oversize hole?
Will the factory harness work with these light. I purchased these, they fit perfect and all but when I plug it in, the lights do not turn on but the stock ones do, what am I missing? Thanks
I have never tried installing these lights with the factory harness. You will probably need to figure out which wires are power and ground on your factory harness as well as the new lights and repin the connectors so they match.
Ok my question is you said if you have a smaller size headlights that where installed by a dealer theses wouldn't work. Does that mean the holes would be cut wrong or they would have to be cut out more to fit theses lights?
I know this is a bit old but... I too am replacing my 3rd party halogen lights with the RHOX Street Legal LED kit. I reached out to golfcarttiresupply.com, where I ended up purchasing my kit from, and they emailed me the cut-out templates as a PDF which I then had printed at Office Depot for less than a dollar (one of the templates prints out on 11x17 paper). I was then able to verify that my existing cutouts would not interfere or cause trouble with the new lights. Tada!
Thanks! Helped me install some lights on my Mother-in-Law's golf cart today.
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching
Great job on the video!
Thanks for watching!
Looking for replacement lights,
These designs used here have way too much plastic & less 💡 that what I have currently.
There are three wires going to the switch. Red, blue, black. Three terminals on the switch which color goes on the middle terminal?
Blue

Can you send me a link to the switch you are trying to use?
My question is.. what about the brake lights? How does it know when you it the brakes
This kit does not include brake lights or turn signals. Only head lights and tail lights.
@@PowerEquipmentMan understood.. thanks 👌
Are you able to wire up a brake switch to these though?
@@AMarino135 I purchased from the same seller but they offer a upgraded kit with turn signals, brake light switch, and a horn also.
Hi can you tell me what year club car that is Thanks
1995. Thanks for watching!

So, these don't have a brake light connection?
The kit installed in this video is head and tail lights only, no brake lights or turn signals.

No these lights will not work with OEM holes. Try these - amzn.to/3MfCdIt

Do you have to use a gas harness adapter?
No

If your current lights are smaller you should be able to trim the hole to make it large enough for these to fit.

How do you remove the wires from the switch?
I assume you are asking about the on/off switch? They are just spade connectors, just pull on them and they come off.
@@PowerEquipmentMandoes the switch come with the kit?
What year is this ds?
1995
where can i get them
See the link in the video description.
Do you have any Info the Hustler Dash XD?
Not. I haven't been very impressed with the Dash. I really think the Raptor X is a better machine for the money.
Do you have a part number for this light kit?
No part number, but here is the link to it - amzn.to/2KdeFbU
