- Join Dr. David Oualaalou, an international geopolitical consultant, in a riveting discussion with Pravin Sawhney, Editor of Force Magazine, as they delve deep into India's solitary stand against China's economic empire. The video explores India's decision to turn down 5G Huawei, the importance of China in global supply chains, and the challenges of managing alliances with Quad, BRICS, and SCO. With insights into the evolving geopolitical landscape, India's military affairs, and trade relations with other countries, this thought-provoking episode offers a comprehensive analysis of India's strategic decisions and its economic outlook amidst China's dominance. Don't miss this insightful exploration of East Asia's dynamic geopolitical dynamics!
Just by looking at how India clamped down and/or suppressed Chinese companies, like Huawei, Tikrok, Alibaba, Wechat, MG Motor, Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo.....and more recently BYD, we know India has a very very strong sino-phobia. It is a regret that India takes the side of the West, especially the US, in their efforts to counter and contain China and misses the opportunities that China may offer.
If you want india china good relationship then ask china to maintain peace sanctity & pre April 2020 situation in the border
@@vinodkaka5225 It takes two hands to clap. India should shoulder part of the responsibility for the conflict. The Chinese companies are private entities, but the Indian government is seemingly venting its anger on them. Many also have the perception that the Indian government is just using the border conflict as a pretext to seize the assets of the Chinese companies. This perception is rife among Chinese investors now. They have learnt a nasty lesson and are turning away from India, and venturing into Southeast Asia and Latin America instead. Who stands to lose?
Moreover, the bureaucracy and infrastructure in India are not conducive to foreign investments.
@@engsudatta276 So far we have been a developing country if it takes some more time for us to remain developing then so be it as it's not going to be big thing for us to worry about since post covid pendmic period & with the increasing Chinese assertiveness n bullying arrogant & confrontist vis a vis Taiwan Japan in SCS & with india in the LAC since then America & European led theirs initiatives of diversification of supply chain which in the West known as democratization of supply chain in which apart from Asean nations among others nations india is also Getting attraction in this new ventures so if we are not getting Chinese investment both public or private it's not matter of concern for us but what more important for us is our sovereignty which Chinese PLA under the behest of their political leadership most precisely Xi Xingping trying to encroach upon our land every know & then as if india is another Tajikistan or Kyrgyzstan to easily push over and if china really want to have progressive economic & cooperative relationship with india then what's the point in border clashes now & then as india on it's part has always been sensitive & Accomdative to Chinese concerns on every issues which are touchy for the Chinese but what we got in return regular veto & hold on our efforts in UN security Council whenever we mooted proposal to banned Pakistan origin terrorist & if it's not enough for the Chinese they started Regular cross border incursions form PLA & in Galwan china crossed all it's limits & it was the watershed moment for us & since July 2020 there's has been 21 rounds of talks on military level happened on the same border clashes issues where china is not relanting an inch on india demand for the disengagement from the border & restoration of Pre April 2020 situation on the LAC which china refusing to accept therefore what's a point on having cooperative relationship when there's clear visible signs about Chinese intention are opposite to what they speak & what they act. Hence if Chinese really want india not to be in the Western camp then they have to respect indian sensitivities on the border if Chinese didn't keep the pot boiling on the border there was no way india could have gone so much close to the US but the bitter truth is that Chinese wishes to take alot from india but offers nothing to give in return to addressed India's concerns even some of Chinese leaders in various interviews wishing for the same & wanting to address india concerns but one man personal ambitious stopping them for doing this & he is no other than Chinese president Xii Xingping himself
@@vinodkaka5225 The borders between India and China was arbitrarily drawn by the British colonist government of India without the knowledge and approval of the Chinese Qing government and so remain a source of controversy. it is left for the two governments to resolve.
But geopolitically, who first stoked the fire in the Taiwan strait, in North Asia, in South China Sea and south Pacific Ocean. Weren't they the US who sent aircraft carriers, nuclear, submarines, watships, reconnaissance planes to these parts of the world to carry out drills to demostrate military might (even India participated). The target is obvious Besidrs, the US formed the Five Eyes, the Aukus, the Quod (including India and the upcoming alliance of the US, Japan and Korea s pseudo-Nato in the Esst. And the US has just set up a military supplies base in Papua New Guinea. All these are blatant acts aimed at encircling, containing, suppressing China, in line with what Blinken said: " The US will continue to say and do what China dislikes" This is a clear expression of US hegemony and bullying. Do you think China will go down on knees to kowtow to the US?
India of course is playing the game by siding with the West and going against China to gain economic and military benefits from them. Everyone knows that. By the way, India is also not condemning the Russian invasion of Ukraine as it wants to import crude oil from Russia at substantial discounts as well as makes huge profits by exporting the crude to the West. Everyone knows how "shrewd" the Indian government can be. As said, the Chinese businessmen and others had learnt their invaluable lessons and they have formed a hardened perception about India, its government and even some of it citizens. What perception is it? It is up for your guess?
@@engsudatta276 What's US doing everywhere in the world is not india fault neither American are doing this on indian behest as such india has nothing to do with that but having said that whatever US is doing in South China Sea & china is doing in the South China is or I Asia Pacific is up to the China & US Rather we have concerns related to just our borders with china and these so called dispute are not emerged in the 2020 as you rightly mentioned it was started with its roots in the British colonial period when india was also not independent so was china was also not present with its troops deployed in the Tibetan plateau & not just that same Mac Mohan boundry line ➖〰between india & china which has been a bone of contention between the two countries the very same Mac mohan boundry line➖ 〰 extended eastern wards towards Myanmar as well & creating a border between china & Myanmar but there you will never see china do the same precisely what it does in the border with india so if china can Applied restraint in the Myanmar border why can't it can do the same with indian border & one more thing here to note about the very same Mac mohan line boundry dispute was there since century now if we kept aside 2 border skirmishes wars 1962 & 67 aside as an exception then there's has been always peace in the sino indo border therefore then what's proscribed china to keep the temperature boiling with indian border as we know on April 2020 in the midst of the covid pendmic lock down period in the world back then therefore india is not asking china to withdraw from Chinese land but from the Bufferzones which according to 1993 & 2003 peace and transquility agreement between the both sides neither side can occupy even if both side troops comes face to face with each other they will be mutual withdrawal & both sides will come back to their own original backside camps without firing Or physically hurting each other so that to maintain peace transquility & sanctity of the border & both sides should resolve the differences diplomatically & peacefully that's what agreed upon in the Agreements signed in 1993 & 2002 treaty that's what india requesting china to honour the agreement & peace treaty & start mutual troops disengagement & withdraw troops back to the April 2020 location & restoration of pre April 2020 situation on the border which was agreed upon between the two sides even with Differences of opinion & perception so what's stopping china from not honouring agreed treaties with india where as I see china as being a one of superpower nation so definitely no one can dictate china for not improving relationship with india so china have to take call but for that china have to be honest with the peace agreements it has signed with india then unilaterally changing the status quo on the border will not help the matters to solve rather it will have ripples effects on others sectors as well

G7 is set up for coordinate their exploitation on the world.
Mr. Pravin is absolutely right. India can't play this double game. India must decide which camp it belongs to. It's in India's best interest to cooperate with China and Russia. The US wants world domination and doesn't tolerate any countries, especially large countries, to challenge US hegemony. Think the US loves India? Think again. Having seen how hostile the US is toward the great power Russia and China, why would the US treat India any differently when India becomes a superpower?
How about china behaving with india in last 60 years?
Only betrayal 😂😂😂
Let us be clear here - China today has become so powerful because of the enormous benefits given by the US to it since the early 1970s. It is only now that the US has started seeing China as a threat when its economy is close to the size of the US economy. Do you think China will help any country like that ? Obviously not.
While the US and the western world is declining, they still have a lot to offer to India and Indians. They are open societies. The same cannot be said of China. Moreover if India became part of the China camp, it will lose all benefits of the western world which China has explored merrily for its rise, and it will have to play second fiddle to China. So thanks but no thanks. We are happy where we are.

To become a super power, India is still many centuries away and still a very, very distant pipe dream. India sud continue dreaming
Envy cause india downfall.
better cooperate.
Even china must do it with usa .
Both usa / china need each other to move faster in today light speed Internet online economy
Why don't India leave SCO organization and BRICS.
America's complaint: "Oh, why can't China's leadership be more like India's leadership?"
Pravin Sawhney 👍🏻👍👍🏼
中国只想和美国欧洲日本比,学习他们的优点,避开他们犯的错,让自己更好,至于印度,我们尊重。
Why is china supporting pakistan
If it needs to fight India it can declare its intent in public
He is learned person
Cheers to Dr David's viewers
Mr. Pervin is rightly said "Every nation including India have won political interest in mind".
But India should also apply the same principle to all the smaller countries around her.
> So for the security & sustainable regional interests of India, they should take the policy for not to be the friend of a specific political party or community. Rather she should respect the desire /opinion and try to win the hearts of the people of the neighboring countries.
Bring Praveen back, so thankful you found him and not the clown you had on once ( not your fault, he gets around until people figure him out). Very good program and guest
Keep up your good work, David.
India, should either full heartedly join BRICKS or move out. Cannot play games in this age of time.
I think every 100 yrs a person like praveen is born, with his head screwed on tight, a true analyst.
I wish he was heading the Indian government.
I Admire your Instinct Regarding India 🇮🇳 🐍
Thumbs 👍 👍 up
❤😂🎉😅😊
.
We should nominate Pravin for prime minister. He’s one to resolve problems over the negotiation table rather than through means of hostility. Modi is appreciated in the country cuz he qualifies as the Donald Trump of India.
.
Excellent excellent discussion. What a great program..to listen a real discussion.
Jayant Bhandari an Indian himself said : India will eventually disintegrate into many smaller countries
David, your broadcast is invaluable to us Indians, and full of information not available to us.
But please don’t let your microphone pick up the sounds from your speakers, as you become unintelligible . Get some professional pointers about how to conduct a flawless podcast, and we’ll enjoy listening to you even more. Thanks.
Thanks for a very interesting and informative discussion. In my humble opinion Mr Sawhney is the best defense analyst in the world today.
best defense analyst in the world today for India.
David, your sound system is having echoing due to you microphone having voice feedback from your speakers back into your microphone.
It's hard to hear clearly due to the echoing.
The Indians only love to hear from any analysis those who project India as a great power, even if it is not.....😅😅😅😅😅
Cry mf
@PemsShimrey
Absolutely agree
Spot on
They will only hear if you praise them sky high even if it's not the truth
From : Singapore 🇸🇬🤠
> All the neighbouring states of India like Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Maldives and even Hindu dominant Nepal have become anti-India except the current govt.of Bangladesh, who has forcefully perpetuated in power by India going against the public opinion of Bangladesh
> So anti-Indian sentiment inflaming among the common people of Bangladesh.
> In long run it will go against Indian interest to support & assist for one-sided show up election by keeping all the opposition parties out election to ignore the opinion of the people like a autocratic/ Communist country
> The same was done to keep Mamun Abdul Gayoom in power in the Maldives. But current Maldives situation is a living proof of the consequences of going against public opinion.
> If it’s continue whole area will be unstable
> Will it be good for India?
Indian racism gets in the way of understanding China and East Asia
India is sobotaging bricks , Shanghai cooperation..
Pakistan was suppose to be cooperating with India atleast on the economic matters, which they didn't and see where they are economically. India needs to leran this lesson when comes to China.
Cry
Excellent show with Parveen
Modi is hard up to have the superman's suit. Give him one. First he has to bring the price of essentials before embarking on unsolicited wars. Mad fellow.
.
Prahvin should be *NOMINATED* by the Indian masses as Prime Minister of India instead of those weaklings that’s been running the country -weaklings who rode on the coattails of both the UK and the West to get to the top seat in the country.
If Prahvin was calling the shots, my bet is India will have been a STAUNCH PART of Asia and will have PROGRESSED TOGETHER WITH ASIA rather than being a rival to it…
If we’re the case, good chance Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka and India will have merged into a single community and no rivalry would exist today as it does.
But, Indian think they are part of the Neanderthal culture hence look down on everything and everyone Persia right through the subcontinent…
Prahvin and Kishore for PM and for el Presidente! The only two that can make the subcontinent excel through the roof.
.
Pakistan has tried to get on the table at least three times. Irony is the strict Hindu mindset of the Indian government. This mindset has even created a big problem for the Indian Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, and other minorities within India. This mindset needs to be changed. Seems difficult with the present RSS mindset of the rulers of India.
Not Hindu, you mean Hindutva. One is a religion and the other is an ideology.
@@HamidRehman100794 well...who r Not Indian...they wont see that difference. Because they deal Indians...not Liberal Indian or Radical ones.
It is upto Indian ppl to Stop rise of Radical Hindus...if not then they r to be blamed
Pakistan back stabbed India by killing 44 soldiers in 2019
Excellent discussion. Modi is weakening India from inside, opening it for foreign players to create conflicts with his Hindu nation push. Economy is worse than when he took power but present government just likes to event manage everything to present a pretty superficial facade. And then our leaders are always focused on elections and usurping power of opposition.
I guess that finally India will leave
B R I C S , AND FOLLOW THE WES . AS , INDIA LEFT ,THE CHAH BAHAR PORT IN IRAN AND AFTER
18 YEARS HAS NOT FINISHED THE PROJECT . I AM SURE IT WILL BE FINISHED BY CHINA .
4:15 most of the indians scared of truth
The British Empire was afraid of a United Asia.
They left a half million bodies in Balaclava to prove their resolve.
The US Empire as overextended as the Limey one before it,
appears to be repeating the same mistakes as the Well Dressed Gents of London,
did previously.
After the British handed the Persian Colony to the US,
the Dulles Bros made as piss poor an example of Colonial leadership,
as any snooty Brit has ever made an impression on Citizens of Iran.....
The US appears to stomp their feet and attempt to issue threats about invasions.
But can the US actually assemble the forces to invade and overcome the Iranian Government?
Is the US now once again spending so much cash,
(this time in Fiat Dollars)
as they did establishing Port Facilities in Vietnam?
The US created the container Traffic that now seems so normal ,
as the attempt to maintain some form of Puppet Government in Saigon.
The Currency Crisis of 1967 appears to have demonstrated that Colonial Empires cost a lot to maintain.
But here we are again......
How are those US Treasury Notes selling today?
Very nice discussions, truly enjoy a lot.
To enable a further exploration of the matter and avert the trap of reality denial don't you think it would be of utmost interest to mention as well a certain number of publications from knowledgeable and renowned Indian scholars such as Pr. Ashoka Mody with his book " India is Broken"?
India shall be left irrelevant with a simple issues by the fully coming on board asap of the United Nations of Africa.UNA with a single currency and unity military and also the ONE leadership in Ethiopia.ARC+++.
Pravin is a brilliant man. Pity he is not in Government.
Mr. Pravin is not emotional and biased.. i agree with his analysis...
