Pakistan wont fire the first bullet, that I know. But after that, India will open a pandora's box and won't even know whats coming their way if they try anything as they did on the 27th Feb. At that time there were strict orders for PAF to follow but this time i am positive that it will be a lot more rugged, ruthless and very unjust level of retaliation from the PAF side. As long as IAF stay in their own airspace there shouldn't be a problem, but if they cross the PAF airspace then you can't blame PAF to put the kettle back on.

Glad that private companies are now making their contribution, specially in Drones, which is a huge plus. But what he didn't tell that, Pakistan used latest upgraded F-16 on that day, which they only have around 12-18. Rest all F-16 are outdated and need heavy upgrade, which USA has denied. Now they are upgrading it with the help of Turkey. But turkey can only upgrade it partially, bcz they don't have that capacity. (Even, turkey requested USA for the latest F-16 block 72). Apart from that 12-18 F-16 all the remaining fighter aircraft are outdated. And their JF-17 which is Chinese, is inferior to western tech. The bad thing is we have Su-30mki of 2001, not upgraded it after that. That's why we couldn't demonstrate our power, once they are fully upgraded we don't even need Rafale for Pakistan. Rafale is spacially for China.

Simply because Pakistan's all security concerns are centred into the hands of its COAS, unlike Indian military that is totally dependent upon civil bureacracy - making it an uncohesive entity. This does not instill confidence into military bureacracy, rather makes it a demoralized lot. Second and third levels of war called 'operational' and 'strategic' levels respectively, automatically become a meaningless exercise. Great Indian military going down the road this way is unthinkable for any right-minded Indian. Not acceptable.

Indian thinkers need to realize that the above stated "overmatch" between Pakistan and India will only deteriorate from the Indian point of view because of improvements in the Pakistani economy and military capability over time due to China's ascension to World Power status in the next 10 years (or earlier). This will also result in complete Chinese technological superiority in the world in the civilian, military, and economic fields which will benefit Pakistan directly as is already evident. The realists on the Indian side need to come to grips with the reality that they simply cannot hold on to Kashmir forever. They can either choose to voluntarily give up Kashmir just as the United Kingdom gave up Southern Ireland and let the Irish create a new Republic of Ireland peacefully or they can lose it in a certain future war, in which it will have much more to lose. Indian analysts also need to realize that Pakistan simply cannot give up on Kashmir even if the religious factor is taken out. This is due to reasons such as water issues, economic issues, cultural affinity, geographical, and historical reasons.
It also needs to be remembered that throughout history, Kashmir has always been integrated economically, culturally, geographically, and politically with the western areas, i.e. Pakistan and Central Asia.
Indian intelligentsia needs to think along the lines of: *"Give up Kashmir and **_have_** ALL of Pakistan!"* Let me explain: With the most contentious and core issue of Kashmir resolved, bilateral relations between Pakistan and India could improve to a level where along with soft borders, real political and economic integration could take place. In that case, Indians would have free travel access to Kashmir and beyond into Central Asia for tourism or trade purposes! In other words, India would essentially _have_ ALL of Pakistan through non-violent means by *_having_* full economic integration and free movement of people between borders of the two countries! But for all this to happen, all hostile policies would need to be eradicated from this region. Thus a win-win situation for both countries needs to be sought.

You have no idea then boy. I have seen better ones in PAK military uniform currently serving too, not just retired ones like him. That's why Pakistan has always managed to maintain qualitative edge even while operating within a fraction of their budget. We never get defeated or overrun while massive numbers of enemy in the western theater. In both these conflicts, Pakistan army didn't fight as a combined force. Now the scenerio is different. In fact with the Indian commitment in Ladakh, Indian superiority on LOC has eroded. Pakistan is better placed to fight in Kashmir. Anyway, let's hope for peace because the war will bring tremendous destruction even to the winner.

But what he didn't tell that, Pakistan used latest upgraded F-16 on that day, which they only have around 12-18. Rest all F-16 are outdated and need heavy upgrade, which USA has denied.
Now they are upgrading it with the help of Turkey. But turkey can only upgrade it partially, bcz they don't have that capacity. (Even, turkey requested USA for the latest F-16 block 72).
Apart from that 12-18 F-16 all the remaining fighter aircraft are outdated.
And their JF-17 which is Chinese, is inferior to western tech.
The bad thing is we have Su-30mki of 2001, not upgraded it after that. That's why we couldn't demonstrate our power, once they are fully upgraded we don't even need Rafale for Pakistan.

As far as military prowess of China is concerned, India is out of league with it. What to speak of treating it as its one front of war, It is ridiculous. As for Pakistan, its military is a lean and mean, lethal war machine, capable of putting Indian military into disarray at 'ground level', at any point of time, as explained by ex-Col Praveen Sawhney. Simply because Pakistan's all security concerns are centred into the hands of its COAS, unlike Indian military that is totally dependent upon civil bureacracy - making it an uncohesive entity. This does not instill confidence into military bureacracy, rather makes it a demoralized lot.
Second and third levels of war called 'operational' and 'strategic' levels respectively, automatically become a meaningless exercise. Great Indian military going down the road this way is unthinkable for any right-minded Indian. Not acceptable.

Indian thinkers need to realize that the above stated "overmatch" between Pakistan and India will only deteriorate from the Indian point of view because of improvements in the Pakistani economy and military capability over time due to China's ascension to World Power status in the next 10 years (or earlier).
This will also result in complete Chinese technological superiority in the world in the civilian, military, and economic fields which will benefit Pakistan directly as is already evident.
The realists on the Indian side need to come to grips with the reality that they simply cannot hold on to Kashmir forever. They can either choose to voluntarily give up Kashmir just as the United Kingdom gave up Southern Ireland and let the Irish create a new Republic of Ireland peacefully or they can lose it in a certain future war, in which it will have much more to lose.
Indian analysts also need to realize that Pakistan simply cannot give up on Kashmir even if the religious factor is taken out. This is due to reasons such as water issues, economic issues, cultural affinity, geographical, and historical reasons.
It also needs to be remembered that throughout history, Kashmir has always been integrated economically, culturally, geographically, and politically with the western areas, i.e. Pakistan and Central Asia.
Indian intelligentsia needs to think along the lines of:
*"Give up Kashmir and **_have_** ALL of Pakistan!"*
Let me explain:
With the most contentious and core issue of Kashmir resolved, bilateral relations between Pakistan and India could improve to a level where along with soft borders, real political and economic integration could take place.
In that case, Indians would have free travel access to Kashmir and beyond into Central Asia for tourism or trade purposes!
In other words, India would essentially _have_ ALL of Pakistan through non-violent means by *_having_* full economic integration and free movement of people between borders of the two countries!
But for all this to happen, all hostile policies would need to be eradicated from this region. Thus a win-win situation for both countries needs to be sought.
Not sure what data you have to come up with 10 year calculation. Pakistan's ruling elite is dominated by people like you, whose utopian thinking has no basis !! That's why Pakistan has always managed to maintain qualitative edge even while operating within a fraction of their budget. We never get defeated or overrun while massive numbers of enemy in the western theater. @@Verhen_n No he is making perfect sense if you listen to him in detail. India's military is twice as larger but is territorially vulnerable due to being nine times larger then Pak. Also, Pak being much smaller in size is much easier to defend then India is. Take in to consideration that China is also after India's blood and Pak has the Afghan Taliban on it's side now. The Pak military does not need to worry so much about Afghanistan anymore like they did so before. Pak is prepared and is also very eager to conquer India too. India's two front war talks about the threat of Pak and China even the Afghan Taliban. China has already taken Ladakh from India and wants to go even deeper as we can see from the current stand off. As Mr Sawhney says India has never defeated west Pakistan that is the current Pakistan. Pravin saheb is a former soldier who knows much more about military warfare then a layman like you so show him some respect.

If India wants war with Pak or China then you will be put in your place as shown in Ladakh. If India vacates Chinese land then it will be best for them otherwise India will get hammered as Mr Sawhney has repeatedly said. Muslim countries are fighting because they are being attacked by NATO and the west where as they are not attacking India. Instead we see an almost civil war scenario developing in India with the farmers protesting, the situation in Assam and Indian occupied Kashmir.
