I quit a year ago. Tried to play pvp a month ago. 6 games in I uninstalled the game. Its a shame. I spent years playing this game and it's just ass anymore.
Its always been primary focused in fact they could've made off meta weapons actually greatly viable in pvp as there are a ton that are just being wasted in collections/vaults
In other words just ban special entirely with an enhanced heavy ammo rotation maybe even throw in some other features like "grenades only" for a primary gunmode
I truly really love d2 PvP, but goddamn we had a direction and a vision and we went into final shape and they abandoned every part of it. The PvP player base is finally showing that abandonment. They are tired of waiting for investment and sick of apologies. Sick of "renewed focus" with only minimal changes, one map pack, etc etc. I dont blame people for moving on. Super bummer but its the reality of years of broken promises with no end in sight of actually coming through for the dedicated pvp players...
Bungie are geniuses at stacking and multiplying sources of irritation and annoyance into one sandbox. I quit back in 2021 when the ability spam took over and people started throwing buckets of diarrhea at each other instead of using weapons.
When I played Destiny, fusion rifles were the only weapons that made me rage quit. I didn’t care about shotty apes, but getting vooped really got under my skin

They, especially the noobs, all crutch abilities and special nowadays, that is if they're not on Xim already. Primary only would be a great format to sort out the players from the cheats.
Some of us still arent quitting because we do it as a pastime to take a break from our jobs or perhaps we love the game that much though i can see why so many people would quit unfortunately
I like FPS - so what is everyone else playing now? Some of my past favorites are Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Back For Blood, Borderlands 1 & 2, (3 was ass), Dead Island. Any suggestions
I usually ignore the "i'm quitting d2" videos because it's just some content creator whining about something trivial compared to the other issues this game has. I can fully understand yours however. This is supposed to be the company that pioneered online matchmade pvp. My bf quit playing destiny 2 a year ago because crucible is boring and filled with random bs. I left the game to play overwatch instead. Yes, that was an improvement.
I'm also taking a long break from D2 but I never saw a problem with most PVP weapons. You're just complaining about something that killed you that wasn't an off-meta primary weapon.
Special is an inherent problem or else D2 would have more players. I and a lot of ppl played more with the metered special system. Don't get mad at criticism, also say whatever to want I don't play the bitch no more. I could care less what happens to the game.
@@damnedifido1062 let me ask you this. Why should any weapon hit headshots while aiming at belt level up close? That’s obviously broken & it’s by far the most used weapon in the game for this exact reason

The player pool is so small now the only ones in pvp are cheater's and sweats . I play pvp everyday and it's full of cheater's. It sucks but it is what it is. For yrs people talked about this game being the Destiny 2 killer and that game being the Destiny 2 killer . Low and behold it turns out that Bungie is the Destiny 2 killer . The game is nothing but bugs in pve and cheater's in pvp and bad connections to top it all off . I don't blame you for quitting. Because the game is never going to get better.
It's just part of the game... i don't know why you are crying about this all of a sudden after years of that this is in the game. But enjoy your other games and don't come back =)

Playing pvp will drive anyone insane. Id try to stick just to pve. Less stress and the guns are actually worth it
I don't understand why they can't do a game mode where you can only use primary weapons, 1v1 would be a lot more interesting then.
