Well, that very same day, Tanner fished way more than that one super-productive run. Plenty of backcountry miles were covered in pursuit of wild brook trout, rainbows, cutbows, and hopefully a native cutthroat.
Join us as we follow along with Tanner on a late summer day throwing big bushy dry flies to hungry small stream trout. It was one of those days that you dream of. While fishing started a bit slow, by midday, Tanner was catching his fair share. Fish munching big terrestrials and attractors...does it get better than that?

Tanner killin’ it with the hopper! 💥 What was the rod/reel line combo? Tight lines!
Tanner left his trusty G Loomis NRX+ LP in Denver...so he was fishing Ivan's Winston Pure with a SA Amplitude Smooth Trout in a 5 weight.
