Thank you for this video!! Task Manager apps is a new concept to me, and I was doing the research to decide between several apps. I had questions that Nirvana's video tutorials didn't answer, and came across this. Perfect. The Subtask feature really sold me, and I have not seen anyone else mention this!
Excellent video! I’m new to Nirvana and was not able to figure out how best to make it work for me. You provided all the context I needed to make it happen. I loved the subtasks and the way you used areas. Thanks!
This is excellent. The only thing I wish you had gone into more is use of projects. I see you can define actions and then associate them to the project - but i wonder if the project list itself can be used to generate actions? (eg zoom into a project and then define all the actions for it)
Not sure if this was true in 2017, but now you can create tags that start with @ such as @phone and Nirvana will understand them as contexts and automatically add them to the list of filter buttons at the top of the page.
What do you like to use for reference? A lot of folks are using Evernote for GTD for collections and pictures and things like that. Does Nirvana have the ability to take photos such as from a phone? I'll be using the Android version on my Samsung phone.
I just started using Notion. It's amazing and very powerful, and it's easy to only use what you want. I link the page or table or whatever from Notion directly to my generic reference in Nirvana.
Thank you for that nice video. But Nirvana has some sort of limitations that you have to handle with. There is no reminders... at all, even if you have paid account (pro),it's a shame. There are no any sort of widjet for mobile apps. How are you dealing with this ? Nevertheless Nirvana is good for implementing GTD in your work and personal tasks flow.
I know this is a bit late, but there is a chrome extension for adding items as reminders in Google Calendar: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nirvana-hq-add-to-calenda/enfogplbopdmdjhnigjaijcnacjlcpme
I think Nirvana is actually the best of the apps for how it handles repeating tasks. I don't believe the option for repeating tasks is available on free accounts though.

I've used Nirvana for over a year now and you taught me two things I didn't know! Thanks!
What are they! Please share!
Would love some more GTD centric content, your GTD videos are all gold and I've watched them so many times.
Just viewed your video again and I am truly leaning towards purchasing this application! Thanks
Very informative video without techy jargon. Thank you.
Very helpful review, I've been using Nirvana for a week or so and I did learn a few nice things from you!
Great video! I have been amazed that Nirvana has the 'silent movie' demo's without any verbal context provided.
Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I agree. There does seem to be some opportunity for Nirvana to step up their video tutorials a bit.
A great intro to Nirvana!
Thank you for such a detailed tutorial!
Great explanation on Nirvana thanks
I'm moving all my to-do in Nirvana HQ and will give it try.
Great video! Thank you for making this and sharing your process - super informative.
Thanks for the comment!
Very helpful tutorial. Thank you so much!
So helpful! Thanks!
Thanks for the video, very helpful!

Daaamn didn't know about that subtasks stuff
Well done. Thank you.

Hey man for how long have you been using Nirvana?

I am curious too. But I don't hink Nirvana is good for file management or picture management. You still should need another tool to manage files.
@@QingyangLi it uses links for things like that.

I use labels and I strongly recommend that many do to

Company stated that they are looking into this feature for future.

Can I sort the Project list in my own sort order?
Yes, you can sort them manually and it keeps them in the order you choose
No repeating tasks?
