I can't believe how well these 30-40 year old races have been restored. I swear I can almost make out the contingency decals even on the wide shots.
They did a fantastic job cleaning up the old footage.
After watching all the races from 1987 up to this race it sure is nice to see Ol Handsom Harry finally go back in victory lane. He was such an underrated driver that everyone respected him

I was at this race with my Dad. I was 17 at the time and I had bought us tickets for the race. We were sitting under the covered front stretch just going into turn one.
How much did it cost? I’m from the UK and have often assumed it must’ve been cheap as the events always looked filled to capacity.
