avenged sevenfold is seriously the best fucking band live... out of all the bands i've seen at shows, this is the only band where every person can nail every difficult part of every song... the live versions of their songs are BETTER than the album versions, and they don't mess up... and matt can hit every note perfect, even when you can tell he's running out of breath, he still pulls it off, it's fuckin amazing
The part of this show that may now never happen again is Australian dates. I’d give anything to see em down under again, especially with the new setlist

Jesus wept I don't know how any of them, but especially Syn, got through this tour. I'm so grateful we still have Avenged, but their fight to survive losing Jimmy was unreal. I couldn't listen to Avenged for years after this tour, and watching these older videos of this time reminds me how touch and go it was for a while there.

Jimmy is the best drummer in the world, but that doesn't mean every single song on this album is about him. All of the songs except for 4AM were recorded with him. In other words, all the songs were written and added to the album before he died.
They wrote most of the lyrics after he passed. The actual music was all written before he passed. The lyrics to songs like Nightmare, Danger Line, and I believe Fiction were all written before he passed, but other than that, it was pretty much all written about him.
Actually shadows even said that every song on the album, other than nightmare (which was written before jimmy passed) was dedicated to jimmy, and the only reason nightmare itself is on the album is because jimmy loved it so much

@alberca90 They often do have mistakes and are an amazing band. I'd prefer there live stuff over there albums any day. The best band live in my opinion is System of a Down though. Best concert i've ever been to. Can't wait to See Avenged Sevenfold live again though.
